honestly, i don't know many more people than you might...i just talk...incessantly...
the group seems to be awesome here though...once you get past the rough edges. the less time you spend on the action figure threads the more they seem to like you.
okay, we're officially Jake and...
yeah, it um...was on the site i shared with certain people i don't really wanna talk about right now...i had to get my stuff and go. i'm gonna put up a page of my own soon, and it'll be back then, sorry.
this was actually my first BotCon, though i plan on going next year too. next year's is...
he can reprint my Bunson review. i don't get paid, so i can put it where ever i want, as long as Zen gets first crack at it. it's already seen print, so it's all good.
mine is a tie, Rowlf and Bunsen. they are both big factors in my love of both music and science. yes, the Electric Mayhem are cool, but Rowlf is always who i think of first when i think Muppets and music. and as for Bunsen...i tried to make a "sister detector" once. it was the epic, rube...
you're right, it's not...but speaking as someone who is only a few days ahead of him in the same position, and having done the exact same thing he did to a bunch of other people (i apologized), i can see where he's coming from. he seems to be a cool enough guy usually though...i wouldn't call...
yesterday, i would have agreed with you...today, i'm not so sure. telling yourself you're anti-love is like telling yourself you're anti-air. it's something that you need, wether you like it or not.
yeah, it hurts like h*ll sometimes, but you have to press on. otherwise it never gets...
all are invited! and more to the point, as many Muppet fans as possible are NEEDED to go, if we want Creation to keep doing it.
Hope to see you there, and welcome to the board!
i was talking about my review for Zen...i have friends that spend all their free time building prop replicas (i'm even trying to help one start a company), so when i was wanting an unbiased opinion of He-Man, i went to them. i took what they said, added it to what i was already thinking, and...
last i heard they were still playing. they are originally from the Dallas area, but they tour everywhere. they're like a lesser-known cousin to the Canadian Brass. i actually got their trombone player to send me a copy of the arrangement he wrote for "Hungarian Dance #5" (trombone played the...
actually, that's a pretty decent idea. when series three hits (or series 2, whatever) i think i might take a couple of the figs, and submit them to my prop building friends. i'll take their comments, and build a review out of that. it's kind of a more thought out version of what i did with...
those are pretty good! (and yeah, he was kinda harsh, but it sounds like he's had a rough weekend...i wouldn't take it personally) i just started a thread about musicians, so maybe we'll get a bite or two. then we can draft them into our band of Muppety goodness.
ooooooo...Muppety...
This came up in another thread, and i got to wondering:
How many of the Muppet Central members are musicians?
what instrument do you play, and what type of music? do you play professionally? or just for fun? and WHY did you get started?
personally, i'm a trombone/low brass player...
man, do i hear that...not to mention that i got my first piece of toy-critic hate-mail recently (i printed it out and framed it) for that He-Man piece i did. don't wanna take any chances that that guy finds out what i look like.
hmm...now i'm gonna have to get out "ye olde fakebook" and...
sounds like much fun was not had. i'm truly sorry to hear it. if you like, though, i'm sure we can assemble a squadron of penguin commandos to exact some Muppety revenge. or i can just direct you to the closest DVD player, with a copy of GMC...you choose.
of course, you could do...
well, i guess that answers that, now doesn't it?
but as it turns out my birthday is in May, so i'm gonna try and go to Philly! woo!
(sorry, had to work the phrase in somehow)
