no offense, but you're going to look back on this thread in a week or so and feel pretty silly.
and you know that if there's anyone here that has earned the ability to say that, it's me...
well, they beat me to it, but yeah Ripping Friends will be on Adult Swim (along with the Oblongs...i'm realling digging that show)
and someone mentioned it as a joke, but Wildstorm actually has picked up the rights to do a Smurfs comic...whatever...
for Justice League fans that like...
i take VIRTUALLY all of my toys out of the package. out of several hundred figures, the only things i have "in package" are:
Ash and the Pit Witch
"Invisible" Space Ghost
Repaint RiD Prowl (signed by the voice)
Basic RiD Prime (signed by the voice)
Long Hair Piggy
Tuxedo Kermit
WW Dr...
is THAT when they pushed it back to...the original date was july 15th. on a side note, i met Bob Forward at BotCon...he worked both on Transformers and He-Man...and i hear he's working on the new cartooon too! he'll probably be there...
the new Thundercats comic hit this past week...i've heard a couple rumors of a new cartoon, but nothing official. i'm trying to remember who own that, and for some reason i think it was DIC...which i think was just purchased by Disney (am i right? i don't know why i think this) as part of that...
that's awesome.
even if it didn't show up, it is a VERY Adams thing to say...especially knowing how much he loved his MACs (nobody's perfect)
and yeah, i wondered that about your username...personally, i keep a towel in the trunk of my car at all times...seriously...
I am ALWAYS up for talking about cartoons.
first off Justice League. i LIKE it! it's a natural extension of the Superman and Batman cartoons, and it feels like it. my biggest problem is the fact that JL is all about action. what i loved most about Superman, and ESPECIALLY Batman was how...
really? that's pretty cool...i was raised LDS, but well...some things just don't stick. i still carry many of the sensibilities, but i havn't been in years...
i'm one of the lucky ones...i have MST3K: The Movie on DVD...not many of these things exist. a friend of mine has a Tom Servo and Crow. they're dead on perfect...
there's been some discussion about doing an MST3K of our own for our next InConjunction...we're trying to come up with a good...
there's nothing special within the transfer of the movie itself, so if that's all you're interested, take a pass...it is supposedly an "extended director's edition", but it's been long enough since i've watched this, that i can't tell what's new. and if you like extras though...hoo boy are you...
towels...
isn't that a great book? there's an interview in there between Adams and American Athiests, detailing WHY Adams was an Athiest that i thought was so brilliant, i typed out all 5 pages and sent it out as an email. as it turns out, i still have a copy if anyone's interested.
thanks...
indeed, it's kinda the same reasoning behind why the Kermit figure is so much...greener than the real Kermit. the lights used in the past washed out the color of the material used to make the Muppets themselves. i don't know why, but i always thought of Bunsen as green anyway...maybe it was...
Re: Collector club question
no one knows, and Ken ain't tellin' (cause that would honestly be unfair). no offense to you because it's in no way your fault, but this is why i'm kinda upset that people started talking about it. as soon as it was mentioned, everyone (me too) went nuts. it was...
i didn't mean it like that, and believe me i understand your point.
i'm really sorry if you took it like i was trying to give you a hard time. i really didn't mean it that way, i promise.
i'm sorry...
