Cory -
don't make me smack you...get back here. c'mon man, you were one of the reasons i came back, we've have some great conversations, and some even better arguments (in the best possible sense...seriously), and i didn't want to miss out on those.
*sigh* well, you're a big boy, and...
i like the new He-Man stuff...i've got most of the new stuff, including the castle, and i have to admit that by and large...it's pretty sweet. i especially dig Mer-Man and Ram-Man, and i'm looking for Mek-a-neck, as he was my favorite as a kid.
having said such nice things though, i still...
heh...most people missed the "big announcement", as the thread was promptly deleted...then i said it again because someone asked why i had pulled off the avatar and sig (i was, in fact still reading...just not commenting). eventually, i realized that i couldn't NOT say anything on here, and...
i've had this same problem on occasion...basically, i've gotten to the point where i just look for things with today's date, and then read until i see one i recognize as already read...i'm just too lazy to put much effort in.
oh i know, but i live in indianapolis, and my ex goes to notre dame, so up until this summer, i was in the area quite a bit. as it was, i just got disturbing news regarding her and someone who WAS my best friend (why must my life be a soap opera?)...so trust me, it was more talk than actual...
heh...that reminds me of the joke about adding two little words to the fortune in your cookie to come up with your true fortune...don't know why but i found it funny
heh...anyone else who was here when series 1 came out think it's funny that everyone's so calm this time out? there were some...hyper people when series 1 came out. and i think we're all just a little less worried, and a lot more excited then last time.
just an observation
now see...you just HAD to go and give me a reason to go back to south bend. it's only a couple of hours from here, may have to use it as an excuse to pay someone a visit...
i know in a different thread he said he was gonna try and get it out over the weekend, but it looks like the decision was made for later. tomorrow should be the day (i hope).
oooooo! i can answer that one!!
apparantly henson wants the same "pre-approved" heads as much as possible. which is why we won't get "sheesh" Kermit (when is when the subject first came up)
well...with digital cable, i have about 250 channels. sure i only watch about 6 of them with a regularity, but that's beside the point...how do you channel surf on 2 channels? it'd be like surfboarding in a swimming pool...
that may be true, but the fact that you're qualifying them as your "gay friends" is an insult...wether you mean it to be or not. i have friends. some of them do happen to be gay. it doesn't define them, it's just part of who they are, i like who they are, so they get to be my friend.
i'm...
i musta missed that line, but like i suggested they might do, they're combining them. that way you don't get sick of seeing the same thing over and over...and i think it's interesting that this puts CC's cartoons on just as Adult Swim is ending on Cartoon Network...coincidence?
if he is, or isn't, who cares?
he's a puppet, not a person. a fictional character that is neither gay nor straight until whoever's writing the story decides to make it so. it's not been written in, so it doesn't exist.
no offense, but i think it's really a silly question to be asking...
only 2 channels?!?! good god woman, i think i'd die of information withdrawl...
oh and Matt, buddy, pal, amigo...simmer down. i've read the actual press release. i don't remember a mention of a permanent time slot for Clerks...just the marathon (probably with Kevin Smith bumpers too...he...
