Just found this on JimHillMedia.com:
"...If you ask me, Jim, the property Disney overpaid for was the Muppets. Over at Muppet Central.com, there's a rumor that a 10-minute "muppet mockumentary" pilot has been filmed and is being reviewed by the Disney suits for a possible launch as a new...
She just thought it was a waste of the character, and even offered to write better stuff. This was second season and Nick lost interest in the show by that time. It was all about getting their money out of it by then.
It was a half-body puppet and the tail was a separate puppet all together.
Cheryl HATED what they did with Eureeka. She started out this great bumbling wizard with lots of opportunity to make mistakes and learn, but by second season, they turned her into a "Mommy" for the others. She was...
My good friend Cheryl Blaylock performed Eureeka and told me some "interesting" stories about the production. "3 Design Studios" did the puppets and Henson bullied them for a while about it.
BTW I have a couple of original "Eureeka" items available for purchace if anyone want's to PM me about...

Especialy if you like to win cool free Disney stuff and be in contact with Disney Legends!
(Did I mention it's FREE?)
You guys are lucky. All the Tokyo Disney Sea stuff was designed for Long Beach in California, but when they went the cheap route, you got all the good stuff, and we got Disney's California Adventure X>-P
Well, maybe things weren't cool between Henson and Dean before that, which let to the eventual bidding war(?) At any rate, I don't remeber them ever working together after they did show and the live stuff.
It's not gonna happen because stuff like that can't make any serious money for them, and nobody cares! They can't even put "real" bonus features on the re-releases of the classic films.
I'm not sure of the details of this go round with Disney, but my understanding of the deal Jim was working on was for them to "own" the rights for 10 years, then they would option again at that time, or everything would go back to Henson. Maybe this is the case again?
Loren Michaels fought for Jim and said he would have rather had "the Kermit & Piggy" types, and both agreed it just wasn't working. Jim accomplished a LOT with those little sketches. The first Muppets without "cartoon" eyes and they were a step futher in creating The Creature Shop stuff...
Disney is focusing their attention on the high-end merchandise and burning off the library to get their money back on the deal. The Muppets probably will be bought back by Henson someday when they are finally worthless. No one else but Disney can exploit them properly, even if they aren't...
I always check with Dead People Server since they keep pretty accurate and up to the day additions.
Some confusion on the Harry Morgan thing. As far as I know he is alive, but has been out of the spotlight since the spousal abuse arrest a few years ago. There was the game show panelst HENRY...
It really all came from the writers. SNL is, was and will always be EXTREMELY competitive to get airtime for your ideas and performance. The writers DISPISED writing for the puppets (they even had a Big Bird doll hanging by a noose in the writer's room) and Gilda was the only one thet would...
The three remaining cast members did the cameo in the first "Munsters Return" telemovie only a couple of years ago that Rick Baker was credited with "recreating the Classic Munster Makeup" for. They did a restrant scene with the "new" Herman.
I alwasy thought she was SO hott! Try to get a...
That's a cool place to wander around. I was there when "Dr. Quin" was filming, and it's amaizing how close the sets are to the main road-you can see them as you drive by.
