andrew or nate on theses boards could help you out making them possibly, they have a similar style to the fraggles and have made characters that looked like them.
He can move down into the trash can so easily, and bring trash up from his huge storage area, it almost seems like the bottom of the trash can is open. Or the lower back section of the can has a big hole in it. Never seen a pic, but would like to.
I'll have to find the link to the cool metal stands I recently found. They are cheap and hip looking. Regarding the clips for the mouth, you could stick a piece of foam on top of the rod that is smaller but similar in shape to the mouth / puppet face. That way the face is "full' with foam and...
I was going to post this late the night before the airing, but thought it would be too late. At least we can talk about it for those who have seen it before. Definately one of my favorite Mister Rogers episodes, combining my favorite kids show host with one of my favorite Sesame characters. The...
John was just in northern Indiana last month and held a puppet making workshop. He was the nicest guy in the world. If you email him via his website, I'm sure he'll email you back. I barely remember seeing his puppet act at Union Station in Indianapolis when I was a kid. Glad to hear things are...
"Apparently he's some sort of hockey guy or something."
Funny comment which either displays some kind of modesty / humor, or lack of knowledge regarding hockey. (I'm not a big fan of hockey either, but Wayne is THE man in the hockey world.) Regardless, it made me laugh.
Either way, best of luck!
Great puppets and those "commercials" are just hilarious. I love how they show the bankers performing the puppets at the end, very clever. This is a perfect example of how companies could use puppets for online advertising. Can't wait to see the outtakes when they post them!
$50 is the lowest price I've seen anywhere. They're usually around $80.
I played with the Elmo at the puppet theater in Mishawaka, IN and it is very nice. They have most of them in their puppet store. I have never seen a Count version of these so I am not sure if he really exists . . .
I used the sock puppet pattern from you know who and the face / mouth somehow turned pointy versus the many round examples I've seen on the site. So, I turned it into a dragon for the latest contest but didn't get it finished in time. It could have easily been an alligator.
I used these eyes...
Ahhhh, I see the light. Well, unfortunately I won't be able to help out. Sounded like fun. The closest puppet I have to a character is a puppet that is made in the Fraggle style, but is not a particular fraggle on the show.
I have never seen a Barkley item, and I've checked ebay for years.
Not sure if he is even out there anywhere, but best of luck in your search.
If he could have talked there would probably be a better chance of a puppet or good stuffed doll, they made a few Snuffys after all.
I've got a Kermit replica if you want to borrow it . . .
Waka Waka! Just kidding Gordon, sorry I couldn't resist.
I do have a hot 20-something year old girl puppet that you could borrow if you need something like that. She's pretty cute!
I'm not a lawyer or anything, but I think the use of muppet / muppet style in your ebay title would not get you in trouble by the big D. If you search around on the internet for puppets you'll see that a lot of companies also use the words muppet and sesame street to describe their own puppets...
As a tiny little suggestion, I would add the word "muppet" to the title of your listings.
Of couse that means more people will probably find them, they'll go for more money, and I won't be able to afford any of them. But it's all for a good cause, eh?
