I'm sorry if this is off-topic. I just have to say this in a friendly matter but what do you have againist IAVMMCM (affectionatly called VMX)? The characters were all in character, compare the Piggy and Fozzie in MTI to them in VMX, a lot of long lost muppet characters, :flirt: ;) :sympathy...
Actually, Muppets Most Wanted did great buisness on Friday. In my forecast I put MMW's Friday gross as $1.5 million, and it made an estimated $1,538,000 on its third Friday, only down 41% from last Friday. It is still probably going to make an estimate 7 million this weekend and will pass the...
About the director thing, I read on a MC article from '98 that Randal Klesier (director of Grease) was originally going to direct the film, but because of "creative differences" he was dropped. I wonder if the film would've been better if he directed it?
Neither do I, until one day I struck gold. I went to a thrift store and found this ten-disc boxset with the muppets take manhattan picture on the cover and a description on the back. It was the whole series! So, I got all 120 episodes of TMS uncut (except for the swedish chef sketch in Don...
THREAD REVIVAL
Here are my top 5
5. Juliet Prowse: Mahna Mahna
4. Jim Nabors: Dr. Teeth's Money
3. Jean-Pierre Rampal: Rocking Robin
2. Don Knotts: Sweet Gingerbread Man
and my number 1 favorite is...
1. Christopher Reeve: Disco Frog
Honorable Mention: Liberace: Never on Sunday
There were music right problems with "Six String Orchestra". "Summertime" even though it was gargled, and "Ramma Lama Ding Dong". At first they cut these songs and everything related to it, but it resulted in a show about 15 min. long, so they just cut the whole thing. It had nothing to do with...
Oh god, I can just imagine how sad that'd be.
In other news, MMW is predicted to make $6.9 million according to Box Office Mojo, leading it to a mere 39% dip in its third weekend. Not bad.
As of Wednesaday MMW has made $35.2 mil. in the bank. It should get $35.8 mil. by tomorrow. Here's my weekend breakdown/forecast of what I think MMW will make in its third weekend
Friday: $1.5 million
Saturday: $3.2 million
Sunday: $2.3 million
Weekend Forecast: $7 million, which will give it a...
It's also a little sad seeing Kermit hate on Gonzo so much. I think that was the stupidest thing about the season, thank goodness Gonzo wasn't in that many season 1 episodes.
Muppets Most Wanted was overall an enjoyable film, I rank it as the 3rd best muppet film of the theatrical released muppet films only behind TMM and GMC.
Here are some of the things I liked about it
We're Doing A Sequel was awesome, I loved how they cut to the title after the number and then...
Actually I can think of a lot of episodes where S&W actually liked some of the muppet show sketches and they liked a lot of the guest star stuff in SEASON 1.
