I think Oscar's voice was alot more nasally during the first 3 seasons, and 4/5 is where I feel like Caroll fixed up the voice a little more. So I can hear the accent going on and off.
I honestly lost a little respect for both Lisa and Cheryl after hearing them both just kind of shove Steve aside like that, but not to the point where I hold ill-will towards them.
I recall hearing about that. Granted, I find the show just weird as an adult and I don't know how my 7-year-old self enjoyed it.... But that really blows.
Alright, I watched the video and I must say I do actually feel bad for Steve. Seeing him all teary-eyed like that sure is hard to watch. I did roll my eyes on the mention of him being the cause of Kermit's downfall in the revised Muppet series. I mean, it's not like the show wasn't scripted...

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D I'm going to listen to the interview now and offer my thoughts. I'm really enjoying reading the comments on this thread as I eat goldfish in my bed, though.
(I'd post it as a pic, but I'm not getting the picture to appear in my post)...
People can think what they want about Cheryl, but I for one have no beef or cold blood against her over one opinion.
I wish the same could be said for other muppet fans.
I'm guessing Pumpkinjfriend saw the conversation on the thread about the leaked episodes and saw the mention of the recently discovered clips.
If any case.... here's "Surprise!" on its own.
(Here's hoping we can get the full clip for the Little Jerry song as well one day. Ooo-wah-doo...
YMBAOMF if....
...you've once had a crush on a muppet character (2 for me, matter a fact). I'm not afraid to admit it either.
...you can feel sympathetic for a muppet character.
...you say you're never too old for the muppets.
On another note, I'm kinda iffy on Matt as the count. I like the transylvania accent, it's his voice alone where I think it could use some work. Heck, I could say the same with his Floyd Pepper voice.
But, whatever. At the end of the day, it's all just first world muppet fan problems.
I honestly listened to Peter's Ernie and the voice to me sounds like it keeps going into Jim then Steve, Jim then Steve, Jim then Steve.
Also, I do feel what Cheryl said was pretty harsh, but honestly that's all her problem, not ours. :smirk:
So it seems like perhaps that song only aired in episode 3? Which would make sense anyway with the continuation into Wanda the Witch (though they could've also just cut it after the second chorus).
It's also frustrating (for me, anyway) when it rains on a Saturday and I want to go for a walk in the woods (I prefer going for ones on Saturdays, but Sundays work too). Or when it rains too much and then areas are flooded and fish are swimming in spots they shouldn't be.
I actually found Richard Hunt as the taxi driver pretty funny in The Great Muppet Caper. It was also nice seeing Jerry Nelson cameo in season 40, ignoring his obvious poor health with the tube around his nose.
