    Phobias

I have such a complex with (Grand) Daddy Longleg Spiders. Nobody believes me when I try to tell them, but when I was about four-years-old or so, I saw my first one in the garage, and I SWEAR THAT THING WAS HUGE! It's body was about the size of a small baseball, and it's leg-span spread out...

Anyone Famous Come from Your Hometown?

Sure. Don't forget Richard Dawson, the special pickle-eatin' sourpuss.

Anyone Famous Come from Your Hometown?

I don't see how James Taylor made it big... he really can't sing at all... ever heard his cover of "How Sweet It Is (To Loved By You)"? Sounds TERRIBLY off-key!

Five Years, and Still Snowthing: A Retrospective

I've done that already! Count said he would if it was absolutely necessary, and now with several other people requesting it be closed, now it's necessary. Typo.

The "Does this ever happen to you?" thread

Yeah, because the stinger stays in you, and so when they fly away, the stinger stays behind, and clinges on to their internal organs as well.

Bees aren't SUPPOSED to fly because their tiny little wings can't possibly lift their fat, round bodies off the ground.

    Ahhhhh!

That's not crazy, that's just downright disrespectful. Irregardless, if you're being taught by your regular teacher, or a sub, you ALWAYS address him as "Mr. So-and-So", or her as "Miss/Mrs./Ms. So-and-So". The only exception I can think of is my old Flash animation teacher, who was more...

    Ahhhhh!

Well Ryan, that's how kids are today; they're not taught respect at home because parents expect kids to learn everything at school. Here's another anecdote for you: in Grade 7, our reading teacher was a YOUNG lady (only in her twenties... and she happened to be an old friend of my big... I...

My own MC memories with Bill

The "Does this ever happen to you?" thread

Does this ever happen to you... Flies, mosquitos, and/or gnats get into your room, and right away, they go straight for the insides of your ears? I can't stand that! I always end up having to wear something over my ears to keep them out. I believe I heard/read somewhere that they think of...

My own MC memories with Bill

You know what? I think I remember that scenario you're talking about Marty... and if MY memory serves correctly, I believe Sara's fear was that she might, potentially, have had AIDS, but I believe that was disproven, thank goodness. Still, like Pooh said, nice to see you bonded with her like so.

My own MC memories with Bill

Ooh, this is getting exciting! Can't wait to read more about your early days here on MC from your own point of view Marty (and with help from Bill Bubble Guy as well).

Classic Muppets filming NBC Christmas special

You kidding? It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie was TERRIBLE! But that's besides the point... any chance of Disney keeping their promise about THIS?

    VeggieTales voice artists

Much like The Chipmunks, lol. I know I'm going to get into trouble for this, considering I'm a Christian, but VeggieTales never appealed to me... it always seemed to be like another Barney to me, lol.

Anyone Famous Come from Your Hometown?

Love Buddy Holly! Though I don't understand something... why do people raz me for once confusing Tom Arnold for Greg Proops when they all talk about him looking exactly like Buddy Holly? Other than the glasses (which Holly's is more similar to Drew Carey's), there's really NO resemblance!
