Was it anything like the music video Cartoon Network once did of their famous-for-not-wearing-pants characters singing about how they couldn't get enough (of not wearing pants)?
DOH-hohohohohohoho!
:boo:
Otherwise, I have this to say to political correctness: Why do we have to be in the middle? Can't you let my people go?
I just recently realized yet another little continuity error...
At one point when Big Bird is conducting his experiment with Snuffy squeezing into an oil barrel to see how Santa can go down a chimney, if you look in between the stack of barrels in the corner of the doors, and the side wall of...
I sent Baskin-Robbins an e-mail a couple of months ago, inquiring about why all their Knoxville locations have closed, but they have never responded, so I'm assuming they're pretty much thinking, "Eh, p!s$ off, hillbilly." Or something like that, lol.
The Hub has become like the answer to Muppet fans' prayers.
My only quibble is that the movies ARE edited, and nicked here and there, but that's to be expected, they have to make room for commercials.
But I'm glad The Hub is giving Muppets fans what they want. :)
I honestly don't know if I can adjust to the new Mr. Potato Head, but then again, I guess people who were kids before the 80s felt the same way when they first introduced our current modern Potato Head (back then first called "Super Potato Head").
*Blink* Yeesh-pah!
Is the fact that they have PANTS now a sign of political correctness getting in the way and ruining our fragile and delicate childhood as we know it>
Lol, it's actually the same story with me and my old SST knickerbockers. :D
I believe it I have to narrow it down to one, I think my all-time favorite childhood toy would be Mr. Potato Head... I just loved that guy, lol.
I think just about everyone felt that way, and let's take a look at what made it work as well:
When you've got modern remakes of franchises that were popular decades ago, the number one thing that people try to do is change the character's personalities to the point where they're not quite...
One thing that makes me laugh even to this day is a time on Whose Line? when they were playing a round of Film, TV & Theater Styles (where Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and the recurring performer act out a scene, while Drew Carey has them change the style based on suggestions from the audience)...
You're right about his movie career... seems like the only time he had a starring role, that I can think of, is him voicing Bernard, opposite Eva Gabor's Miss Bianca in The Rescuers movies.
I think I can understand his first sitcom being more appreciated and popular: it seems like whenever...
****... with as slow as My[____] is now, it took me over an hour just to send a mass e-mail out to all my friends letting them know I'm closing my account, and that they can either reach me on Y!M if they want to, or they can follow updates on Steve D'Monster and such on my new site/blog...
I didn't know Knickerbocker made action figures with removable clothes... I just have mine from when I was a baby... but I may have to update that page from the Wiki, because my Big Bird, Oscar and Cookie look nothing like the ones pictured (also, I have Elmo, Ernie and Bert, and Telly).
Okay, yeah, I fall into that same ship as well.
But I know WHY I ever watched it: it was new, it was "phenominal", it the was IT thing when it came out, it's what all us kids watched at that time, so... yeah. Really, the only reason I fell out of the craze was because after a while, it just...
It appears to be a completely different, and separate list from your old buddy list as well, so... I don't get it... but hey, that's just twice as many friends fer ya, lol.
There's an episode from Season 30 that involves her becoming a delivery monster, by delivering mail and groceries and such to different residents all over Sesame Street in her Zoemobile, but after a while, she gets sleepy, so Telly volunteers to do her next delivery for her, but she falls asleep...
I was browsing through fye today to see if they had anything worthy of a few bucks or so... I went through the family section, to see if they had any Muppet/Henson-related something I yet to add to my library, and saw something that, unfortunately, is not strange, but makes me wonder how others...
