Disney Channel may have done something, but Nick@Nite did Muppets in the early 90s... in addition to Christmas Toy, I also have a (cut) recording of The Muppets' Valentine Show from N@N as well.
But anyway, as for TCT recording, the breaks and everything do say "Nickelodeon's Sunday Night Muppets".
Most are, with the exception of one humanoid character with glasses.
Does anyone besides me think the red monster at the end looks a little like Blogg?
I'll just say this... Maria Bello is definitely one of the ultimate... um... well, let's just say the acronym rhymes with Milford, without the "ord"...
But looks like Zooey Deschanel's got a TV show now too... and apparently, it's supposed to be a rip-off of that TBS sitcom My Boys...
Too late to edit, but the doodle is in working order now, and yes, it is for Jim's birthday, and it's such an awesome interactive doodle as well, check it out!
I see that Google has just now (this very moment) released a new doodle on their homepage: the doodle must have been rushed, as it's not working properly (that I can tell), and there's no roll-over caption, but the doodle features Muppety-looking creatures against an abstract-drawn background...
Sometimes I kind of wish we could see just a little more of what goes on in the Read house, specifically all the occasions where D.W. is like, "Gee, that Mr. Rathead, Ratburp, Arthur's teacher's not scary at all like Arthur says..." I'd just love to see Arthur telling D.W. all these tall tales...
Oh yes, I liked the original Homeward Bound movie as well... the sequel for that one not so much, it was like one of those sequels where the original was a serious story, so they make the sequel more of a comedy, like they did with American Tail (both were good, but sometimes making a funny...
So... I guess I'm the only one who liked the original movie then?
I mean sure it wasn't the BEST movie in the world, but I thought it was pretty nice and heartwarming... of course then again, I WAS like eight-years-old when I saw it, so... I don't know.
So far, it doesn't sound like things are going too smoothly for him during basic training... my aunt recently received a letter from him, apparently the drill sergeant has been a little extra rough on him, since apparently he hasn't been speaking when spoken too loud enough (ya know, the whole...
How many of those Buddies spin-offs have they cranked out so far? And why do they keep cranking them out? Do you even know anybody who even remotely likes or enjoys those Buddies?
I mean the original Air Bud may or may not have benefitted from it's original sequel where he played soccer instead...
Luckily, I have Christmas Toy unedited on VHS, recorded off Nick@Nite back in the early 90s when they used to play Muppets (probably in honor of Jim's passing).
I can't stand Glee, but this parody was pretty good!
I'm a little surprised they actually threw in the openly gay character, that's going to draw in a LOT of angry criticism from (right wing) parental groups and such who are always spouting, "Children's entertainment is trying to brainwash our...
Perhaps the episode where he and Sue Ellen do that dinosaur project together, but Brain tries to insist on doing the work himself, fearing that any of Sue Ellen's contributions would be too girly, and cost him a perfect grade?
But one thing that stands out in my mind now is when he introduced...
THAT'S IT!!! That was the fic! Yeah, I remember now the main plot had to do with Sue Ellen and Fern basically trying not to get caught while trying to almost get caught at the same time, but still, Buster and the drugs, and those secondary colors were hilarious... and when he jumped off the...
Okay, if I thought what I just mentioned was scary, I just now learned one of my neighbors in this building had an encounter with two druggies, one with brass knuckles, and the other with a gun, on top of another apartmentbuilding just up the road had gunfire the other night as well.
You know, the fact that every single day on the news, there's something about a house burning down, or an apartment complex catching on fire only increases my paranoia and worries about living in this city.
I mean really, Knoxville must be fastly growing into the most dangerous city in America.
Man, Lionsgate quickly became a bit of a powerhouse I have to say... seems like just before I started this thread, you rarely even heard about them, now it seems like half of what's controlled by a bigger company is controlled by them, whether it's DVD distribution or movie/TV show...
