And now for yet another one of my same-old-same-old rants that usually Drtooth and heralde tend to weigh in on with their own opinions that are basically, "True, but the thing of it is..." kind of thing...
Have you seen the promos or heard about this new "sitcom" on ABC called Don't Trust the...
I got thinking about another one of those later-period WACs that was pretty funny to watch as a kid, but seems really strange as an adult...
It was about a farmer who lived on a ranch out in the middle of the desert, and he had faternal twins: one was a boy who was human, the other was a girl...
Forgive me for sounding impatient, but I don't know if I can wait that long for it to be released, haha.
But I must say I'm really glad this is going to have such a wide theatrical release, because I am really looking forward to seeing this; seeing Being Elmo recently on Independent Lens was...
Yeah, apparently there was this family on a bus that ran off the road and was hanging over a cliff, he arrived in his usual fashion to save them (and save them money on their next vacation)... then the bus finally went over the cliff, with him inside, and now there's these commercials where...
Are we supposed to believe he's really dead, or are we supposed to sit on the edge of our seats and wait for future commercials where we see he somehow miraculously survived that firey bus crash?
Yeah, I'm not too big on ladies who are all skin-and-bones (Taylor Swift, Michelle Williams, Kristen Stewart), I prefer REAL women with natural curves.
And that's another rant of mine, which I know I've said before, but since this is our general rant thread, I hate how modern society has taken...
It's hard for me to describe in words what I eventually learned from my gluing and foam mistakes, but I'll try my best...
In the old days, whenever I would construct a foam head, what I was would is pattern the head completely, then what I would do is I would slightly carve the edges of the...
I've just recently noticed something, I'm not sure if it was intentional or conscious or what, but in early segments of Peabody's Improbable History, Mr. Peabody almost always walks on all fours, and sits the way a dog usually sits, yet overtime in later segments, he walks more like a biped...
Well again, where I come from, you don't get in as much trouble for saying that word as you do any of the other words, so that's why I said it in the first place as opposed to any of the others... perhaps from now on, I'll just use a more politically correct termonology: "Lady-of-the-evening"...
I'm not saying it's a clean word, I'm saying it's "cleaner" (emphasis on quotation marks) than the other similar terms around these parts. Y'know, just like terms like "fricken" and "friggin" aren't clean words either, but they're "cleaner" than the OTHER F-word that they're basically the same as.
Okay, here's my rant about he-man-ness...
I'm glad that some things have become much more socially acceptable in recent years, like glasses for example (which is why I take issue with Tina Fey always trying to ditch her specs these days) or braces, but one thing that ticks me off is how body...
Maybe it's yet another regional thing, because around these parts, "hoe" is "cleaner" than "prostitute". Please believe I mean no offense to anyone, I'm just saying...
But again, I'm not surprised that's what she's playing... ever since those Princess Diaries movies, that's all she ever...
Believe it or not, I recently had let my sideburns grow out as well, but my mom made me get rid of them because she said I looked like a redneck.
EDIT: And I wasn't aware she cut her hair for a new role... lemme guess, she's playing... a hoe? Oh, shocker...
I don't know about squinting, but what helps me see a LITTLE without glasses is if I pull on the outer corners of my eyes until whatever I'm trying to look at comes into focus... however, it only works better in the dark when I'm looking at something with light, like the TV screen, or the alarm...
Sometimes, movies do seem to actually benefit from having certain scenes cut, and this seems to be one of those movies: in watching those deleted scenes, they really didn't help advance the plot very much, and had they remained in the final cut, they would have kind of slowed the movie down (one...
