See, now that comment right there is prompting me to bite my tongue (or rather my fingers) on how desperate girls can be to get a guy, because I could go on and on and on and on about that... but I won't.
Just one example that I've seen happen before in which a girl can be so desperate that...
This has been a big year for one of our most celebrated and respected "old-timers" here, as Beau celebrated his tenth anniversary of being a part of MC, and in honor of the occasion, a number of old-timers who have been keeping a low profile turned out in celebration of the achievement.
Beau's...
Thanks to both YouTube and Sesame Workshop's playlists, it's quite easy to find sketches and inserts from all kinds of different eras of SST, from past to present; but this thread is to showcase certain sketches that you perhaps saw maybe only one or twice as a kid, and couldn't remember it...
I remember that too, and IIRC, there were actually a few episodes like that... I recall one where Phoebe wins a contest to have dinner and mingle with her favorite pop star, whom she finds out to be a big hack who doesn't even do his own vocals and lip syncs to all of his songs, and is pretty...
I know that, and when that happens, that makes those like her actually want to tarnish their images and try to get out from under that scope so that won't have to be obligated to keep acting all pristine and squeaky clean because millions of little girls end up looking up to them.
Well, it's a two-way street...
When it comes to the female demographic at least, little girls really could use some positive role-models, because let's face it, when it comes to girl-power in the media, it's all about sexualizing and growing up way too fast, which is pretty much what Drtooth...
Here's a MAJOR rant of mine: ads.
I mean ads are bad enough with them simply being displayed on a page you're looking at... I remember back in the day when NO ads made a website look professional and official, but now, it seems like there's not a single website out there that doesn't have at...
I'm still convinced that with Brave, it's Disney/Pixar wanting their own How to Train Your Dragon.
In fact, my theory on that sparked this strip featured in a webcomic I read regularly:

Well, now I'm on the verge of being banned from YouTube, because I got yet another copyright strike, this time from Disney for posting Grover's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, which was the very first video I ever uploaded, like, five years ago maybe...
At first, I felt this was a false claim, but...
Unfortunately, Dick Clark was pretty much before my time, so I can't really truthfully say that I have a favorite moment or memory involving him... I know he's been hosting his New Year's Eve special for all these years, and it has been sad to see his health deteriorate with each passing year...
Well, I mean of the four main stars, yeah, a number of the recurring actors had rather successful careers, but that's to be expected with secondary actors, it's easier for them to get work post successful series, especially if they are already character actors.
But as for Miley and Demi...
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is the only Seinfeld actor who's had a successful career since the end of the show, but then again, I think in some small way, it's easier for women to get by like that... somehow, a lot of it has to do with their appearances, it seems like all they have to do is change their...
I don't keep up with these Disney chicks, but it seems like Miley Cyrus pops in the news when you least expect over some kind of mild scandal... like recently, she was in the news for a tattoo she got support gay rights, and telling the uber-Conservative religious crowd that they need to re-read...
Would you look at this? Toga, Davo, Prawnie, Beth, all these old-timers turning out for Beau's anniversary... now why can't you guys stick around and make MC feel like the old days?
You know what gets me going into a slow burn? Window/glass cleaners. You know why? Because they all say they're "streak-free", yet when you go to click a window, a mirror, an old glass TV screen, etc, what do you see afterwards? Streaks, smudges, and smears.
False advertising at its finest.
Basically like this...
AB-KAH-DEF-GEE(with hard G sound)-JECKLE-M'NOP-QUER-STOOV-WIX-YIZ.
Believe me, it took me 21 years to learn how to pronounce it. :o
