Now what's going on with YouTube?

I doubt it. Not really for the "Muppet" part, but if you use songs in your video, really, the worst that could happen is you'll receive a "matched third party" notification from whomever holds the rights to the song, in which case, they'll just put ads next to your videos, an iTunes link in the...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Well, we were supposed to get a thunderstorm this evening: the warning is supposed to expire in the next four minutes, so where was the thunderstorm? It got cloudy, but there wasn't any rain, or thunder, or lightning, or anything. Well hopefully, it appears the current string of 100+ degree...

    Internet Doomsday...what?

That's a great possibility... it's like a lot of these advertisements you see on TV or hear on the radio, "Go to My Clean PC dot com" or "Go to Double My Speed dot com" or "Go to Finally Fast dot com for a free scan of your PC, remove any hidden viruses, spyware, malware, trojans, unwanted...

    Internet Doomsday...what?

I've had problems with trojans in the past (usually from questionable ads from deviantART), but presently, all my programs: anti-malware, anti-spyware, anti-virus are all turning up clean.

    Internet Doomsday...what?

I know, I was just pointing out how they made it a point to mention, "This means no Google, no Facebook, no Twitter". :p But yeah, if I see that on July 9 I can't access the internet, then yeah, I'll be screwed, but again, this is like back in 2009 or so when this whole Cornficker or Conficker...

The "What Seems to Be in Store for Season 43" Thread

Wait... so the Tau Bennet bit has been scrapped? That is so un-cool of them to do that: they flew him all the way up from Atlanta to perform alongside one of the puppetry giants on one of the biggest shows in history, and for them to do that is just... again, that just doesn't seem right.

    Internet Doomsday...what?

I heard about this some time ago, but I'm not too worried, I don't think much is going to come out of this... like that whole Cornficker scare a couple of years ago or so, nothing happened. Besides, I can easily live without Google, Facebook, and Twitter. :p

    Despicable Me 2

So anyway, when I went to see Brave tonight, during the never-ending previews, I saw apparently Despicible Me has caught sequelitis as well. I actually didn't see the first one, I heard it was an okay movie, and it's always been my opinion that Steve Carell is a MUCH better voice actor than a...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Summers in the south aren't fun, are they Sarge? But yeah, I remember last year, or the year before last, it was so hot outside, you could break a sweat just STANDING IN THE SHADE! Last year, it heat, combined with the humidity, and the UV rays was so bad, they warned people that if they went...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

*Snickers* Yeah, apparently there's an old saying that, "If it thunders in February, it'll snow in April." Well, two years in a row, it thundered in February, so Mother Nature owes us two snowy Aprils that we were denied. Heck, for it to snow in DECEMBER down here isn't very common... it'll...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Global Warming IS the culprit, it's just that so many people out there refuse to accept it, simply because of Al Gore (I swear, if Bush said the same thing, we'd all be doing what we could to prevent any further Global Warming from happening). This year, I think the entire country was...

The "What Seems to Be in Store for Season 43" Thread

Speaking of Susan, seriously has ANYTHING come of Dr. Loretta Long's book project? It's been about a couple of years or so the last or so anybody's heard anything about it it seems: I submitted a story to be included in her book, and she thanked me for my help in this book that is very important...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Listen, around these parts, it's not uncommon to see little old folks shuffling around in JACKETS and COATS, even when it's up in the triple digits. Conversly, sometimes during the winter, it's not uncommon to see dudes walking around in tank-tops and gym shorts.

Yeah, the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, and just listen to those birds frying in the trees... After all... it's 110 today.
