Yeah, I could see that... he's not quite ready for primetime.
Ah. Well, learn somethin' new every day.
Lol.
Unfortunately, I believe Shari Lewis was dead before George even had an episode dedicated to him, let alone before he built Wally.
You mean he wasn't already? That should be a crime.
Oh...
So I was watching Candid Camera today, and they had a segment where unsuspecting people who held the door open for others ended up standing there, and standing there, and standing there while a flood of Candid Camera employees pretended to be exiting the store... it was funny, because that...
I'm beginning to wonder if candy-making companies are getting bored or something, because there's certainly a lot of, "We've had it!" advertising ploys going on... first, the M&Ms characters split up (which I guess didn't work, because nothing more came out of that); then more recently Mike and...
That's a problem with some studios, is that they get anxious for the movie to be finished and released that it becomes sloppy and rushed: on average, when you're working on a typical movie, you're looking at a good year and a half to two years' worth of work, and that's just for the actual...
There were a NUMBER of Muppet Christmas specials over the years, though I think the one people are discussing in this thread is Letters to Santa, which was pretty decent enough, considering it was really the first new Muppet project Disney had actually done since acquiring the Muppets years earlier.
Re the poor situation, that's exactly why Donald Trump should NEVER be president... he has NO froggin' idea what it's like to be poor, so he wouldn't even know how to begin going about trying to help middle and lower class Americans (and I doubt he'd even want to anyway).
Well, Obama HAS tried to improve the issues in that department, HOWEVER, Republicans seem to have this fear that helping the middle and lower class will mean having to take crowbars to their overflowing wallets, and we all know they don't want to lose one precious cent of the moolah they're just...
I didn't say it would take a white guy in Office to improve race relations, that wasn't what I was saying at all; my point was that even though African Americans saw Obama's election as a huge step for them at the time, it seems as though his being president overall hasn't helped race relations...
They were talking about the Halloween Special before Segel even pitched his idea for a movie to them, so I doubt the movie really had anything to do with why that project was shelved, I'm sure it was another example of Disney's oh-so-wonderful handling of the Muppets at the time.

Didn't that puffy-looking guy with the glasses and wool cap do some of the graphics for this review?
Yeah, I'm sure of it, kiddie shows have been good to show mixed/inter-racial/inter-species families... look at SST: You've got the Noodle family consisting of Mr. Noodle (a white man), Mr. Noodle's Brother Mr. Noodle (a white man), Mr. Noodle's Sister Miss Noodle (a white woman), and Mr...
Not so much today, but within the last four or five months or so, I've encountered about five or six other people who strangely share my same curious fascination and appreciation for the classic Charley Douglass laugh track, when I thought I was the only one (and so did they).
TBS has been playing Seinfeld everyday at 7:00 and 7:30 for years, and one of my local channels plays back-to-back episodes at 6:00 and 6:30, and in both cases, it's the same story: the first episode will be from one season, the next from another, rather than two back-to-back episodes in...
