I got to thinking about different characters who survived over the years, but those who weren't quite as lucky, and it's gotten me curious as to what the circumstances were that some characters didn't survive as the others did.
For example: Muppets Tonight! introduced a number of new...
Well I mean, if that person actually bought the puppet themselves, or the puppets were built for them, then it shouldn't considered stealing; though at the same time, it does seem fair to give the original builder(s) some credit as well... I believe John mentioned earlier in the thread having a...
I just watched some of the 70s Lulu animes on YouTube... boy, some of those voices are actually pretty annoying (and I'm talking about the English dubs)... and... why does Lulu SCREAM so much?!
Okay, so, a while back, maybe a few months ago or so, a buddy of mine and I were having a conversation, and he casually mentioned a wedding (specifically he and his girlfriend), to which I assumed that it was just banter... and as it turns out, they really are getting married this weekend. :o
I was at the store today, and as I got out of the car and looked down, I saw what looked like a fifty dollar bill... then I went to pick it up and I saw it wasn't even any kind of dollar bill, it was a single brochure for TitleMax that had a replication of the fifty dollar bill printed on the...
I wasn't necessarily talking about the fact that it's a cartoon duo, even though that does play a factor, it was moreso the humor and premise of the show and everything seemed like another Ren and Stimpy.
The music industry in general is a very confusing debocal, it's a wonder anyone can figure out all of the legalities of it and everything.

Unfortunately, I was once forced to eat frog legs.
And, I have to say... they DO taste like chicken. With a hint of pond scum, or something.
Never again since, though.

I don't know about the depression study, though it makes sense, since everybody's addicted to social media, and therefore, there's not a whole lot of personal contact out there...
That's the way the music industry is. It's whoever actually sings/performs the song who becomes famous for it, not the songwriter who wrote it.
But it's not ALL bad... sure, "I Will Always Love You" is Whitney Houston's signature hit, but it's Dolly Parton who gets all the money for it...
Maybe he's not as well known as other 70s celebrities?
I don't know... it took me a while when I was younger to figure out who he was... that episode of Dexter's Lab where Dexter took piano lessons from one "Professor Williams" (short, long blonde hair, large glasses, etc) went right over my...
I'm not sure, alls I know is there was some kind of study that was conducted not too long ago that suggests the three phrases people have the hardest time saying are "I'm sorry", "I need help", and possibly "I was wrong".
