Yeah, I agree. I watched most of those eps with the exception of Elmo's World. I noticed how interesting it was before the format change. Quite a few of those older sketches are some I remember. Still, even in 2001 things started to go downhill, with more of the show devoted to Elmo and less...
I think you're right. I definately remember the talking snowman. I've been trying to find a copy of this on DVD to give to my mom for Christmas, but so far I haven't had much luck. *sigh*
Yeah. It seems like Elmo is Kevin's trademark character. How often does he do Muppet Show Muppets anyway? Clifford isn't seen too much anymore and most of his other characters are background characters. I mean, I'm not trying to bash the guy in anyway. He's a very talented performer and...
Well, I kind of liked them. I thought it was funny how dumb they were. I especially liked the John Goodman episode where they agreed to be his slave after he saved their lives.
Hmmm. I missed Robin's cameo in MTI. I'll have to check for that again. Actually, my copy was taped off of ABC, so maybe they edited something out. I don't know.
That would be a good idea. Or, I might have mentioned this before, but they could maybe replace JTE with Ernie's Show and Tell instead of showing that segment after JTE. Then maybe there will be more of a chance we'd see a vintage Bert and Ernie skit after the show and tell segment. Just a...
I've seen that one a few days ago. That was a good one. I wonder if that was Frank or Eric who performed Bert. Oh well, any way I think they're showing Bert a little bit more this season then they did last season.
Hmmm. I remember the one with the roller skating party but I can't remember the one you're talking about. I have seen the "Surprise" song at the Sesame Street Lyrics Archive though.
1. Muppet Show
2. Dinosaurs
3. Muppet Babies
4. Sesame Street (classic version of course)
5. Muppets Tonight! (I know a lot of people may disagree with me on this, but I really liked that show. Besides I never watched "Fraggle Rock." MT was the only other one I could think of.)
I have to agree. I've never actually seen the original Muppet Movie in it's entirety. "The Muppets Take Manhattan" was good but there were a lot of sad parts. It got kind of sappy at times. I preferred "The Great Muppet Caper" because it had more humor.
That's not exactly true. On "The Muppet Show" Gonzo got over Piggy in the Madeline Kahn episode. It's on "Muppet Babies" where he is still pretty much obsessed with her.
