    Muppet Film and TV References

Oh, I'm a big "Sister Sister" fan, so I'll respond to this one. What happened was Lisa (the mother) needed money to send Tia to a private school, so she called PBS to see if she could get the money back that she donated in the pledge drive. Then she said "They don't use that kind of language...

    Crazy Harry appearances

Just a few things to add here. Crazy Harry appeared in the opening of the Bob Hope episode where Gonzo was about to blow the trumpet and Harry blew him out of the 'O.' (This has also been used as an alternate opening for season one eps) I also heard that in two eps of the original season 1...

The Muppets In Oz: RPG (Summer 2005)

Uh, what is it you want from us, Mr. Giant?

Just remember not to say that in front of Miss Piggy.

    Big Bird changes his diet.

So Big Bird did try to eat Slimey once? That's interesting, because I've often thought about that, but I didn't think it even happened. Maybe they should have made that a running gag on the show.

    Mr. Snuffleupagus

Yeah, I don't always get replies to my posts either. It's just something that happens. In fact, it makes me feel better to know it's not just me. Anyway, in answer to your question about Snuffy, you might want to check out the Hooperfan site. There are some good ones there.

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

(Sorry about repeating posts again. I haven't really read through all the messages here yet, so I'd just like to put in my two cents) Yeah, Steve was great at having Kermit spazz, specifically in "Muppet Treasure Island:" "WHO HIRED THIS CREW??!!!" And of course there was the time Kermit...

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

I don't think that's true. I believe Noel did voice Bugs once or twice on "Tiny Tunes" or something like that. Sorry for getting off topic, but I just thought I'd point that out.

The Muppets In Oz: RPG (Summer 2005)

Sorry, Gonzo. I think we still have quite a way to go yet.

Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

Oh. You're referring to Tom Bergeron who also hosted "Hollywood Squares."

The Muppets In Oz: RPG (Summer 2005)

Hey, has anybody seen Robin? I can't find him around here.

Favorite Sesame human of all time

Yes. Bob and Susan were the only two cast members on the show today who were there from the beginning and played by the same actor.

The Muppets In Oz: RPG (Summer 2005)

Yeah. Two Fozzies would be a scary thought.

Favorite Sesame human of all time

I haven't really thought of that. I guess I always liked Gordon (Roscoe Orman of course, because that's the one I grew up with). I also like Gabi. She's a very attractive actress. Some of my other faves are Maria, Luis and Bob.

    Mummenshanz TMS Episode

It's also available on the Timelife Video/DVDs. It's either volume 13 or 14. Maybe Volume 12. You might want to look that up to be sure.

Who does Rizzo play in OZ?

Kermit was seen with Rizzo in one scene in MTI. Remember when Gonzo, Kermit and Rizzo camped out before they were attacked by the pirates?

    Cast Changes

Just a few things to add here. It has previously been mentioned that Matt is Oscar's alternate performer, not John. (With the exception of 'Sesame Street 4D) Also, I believe Clementine was performed by Brain Muehl and Camille Bonora. I'm guessing Dr. Nobel Price must have had a third...

The Muppets In Oz: RPG (Summer 2005)

(That was my fault. I joined the RPG late. I still have to read through the posts so I can get back on track.)

    The Trix Rabbit

Yeah. That Christmas commercial for Fruity Pebbles was really good. I've noticed they still aired that one recently. They should have done something like that with the Trix rabbit at Christmas. He did get a bowl of Trix a few times though in other commercials.
