I guess I see what you mean. It would have been better if we saw Piggy pursue Kermit like she did on "The Muppet Show." I guess Piggy's appearances were limited due to Frank's retirement. If they made a new Muppet Show now with Eric performing Piggy, I'm sure she'll get more airtime and we'll...
Well, there are still eps where Telly worries about things, such as in the pogo stick episode and the episode where he plays basketball with Baby Bear, but he does seem to be a bit more calm then he used to be.
Hmmm. Some of the Brian Meehl Telly's I remember. I was thinking the Brian Telly was before my time, but I didn't take into consideration that they still played the skits with Brian's Telly in later episodes.
Let's see. I guess I liked anything with Telly and Oscar. I also liked when he...
Actually, Kermit and Piggy interacted a few times on MT. Remember the first episode where Clifford accidentally got Miss Piggy and Michelle Pfifer as guest stars? Kermit said a few words to her. There was also an ep where Kermit and Piggy were seen in some kind of parody of "American Bandstand."
Actually, that's not true. I always stayed home to watch ABC TGIF and even when their show's moved to different networks (Ex. "Family Matters" and "Step by Step" to CBS, "Sabrina" to the WB) I would still watch them. (Of course that might have to do with the fact that I'm a loser who can't get...
I don't think that will happen anytime soom. It seems that Clash is too focused with Elmo these days. That might have been why he wasn't there for the taping of Mwoo.
It is kind of odd that Susan's appearances are rare these days. But she did show up in a recent episode (The "Healthy Food Game" ep), and was in "The Street We Live On" special.
I think the situation has to do with the fact that Loretta Long was on the show from the very beginning, so maybe...
By the way, the guy's name was Jeff Bergman. He did voice most of the Looney Tunes in the early 90s, but I hear he was fired since he had some ego problems.
Well, Big Bird was most likely performed by Matt Vogel. Ernie did have a third performer (John Tatiagola), but he only performed Ernie on "Play With Me Sesame." As far as I know, Steve Whitmire is still performing Ernie on "Sesame Street."
Well, I'm guessing it was Michael Earl Davis (Sorry, I got the name wrong before) in the costume along with Richard Hunt, since sources say that Michael performed Snuffy from 1977 to 1980.
I get it on WVIA-TV 44, it comes on at 8am. Then the ep they play is repeated the following day at 1pm. For example, if an ep aired on a Monday at 8am, it would be repeated on Tuesday at 1pm.
Maybe they were just referring to the fact that Richard did the back half. I'm just assuming, because I've never seen any sources that said that Richard did the front and the voice. I wish I had a copy of "Unpaved" so I could take a look at that. I'm not disagreeing with you or anything like...
I don't know. That would explain why Richard was credited on "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street," but I have heard from many other sources that it was Michael Earl Davis or whatever his name was.
