I can finally comment on this since I've seen it recently on the PAX network. Yeah, definitely a good movie. I really liked the part with the tossed salad. And there's the part where Big Bird really does imagine seeing Snuffy. Strange that Snuffy was soon revealed after this. As for Marty's...
Hmmm. I hadn't really thought of that. Big Bird could easily pay as well even if we don't see it, or Susan and Gordon could pay the tab or even Bob or Maria or Luis. Something to think about.
I hadn't really thought about that, but it does seem like Hooper's gives away a lot of stuff for free (Big Bird's milkshake, Baby Bear's pooridge, etc.) Makes me wonder if Bert and Ernie really needed to trade their prized possessions that one Christmas Eve.
Hmmm. I think a Grover puppet did show up in the one about the Bird Flu. He didn't really do anything though. He was just in the trashcan with the other characters. I might be mistaken though.
I agree, especially considering the recent ep where Gordon didn't believe anybody about Herb the dinosaur. Seems like he's more skeptical now than he was years ago.
I thought I'd mention this. Fred Garbo, who played Barkley the dog on "Sesame Street" in the 80s is going to appear in this Celebrity Artist Series at Bloomsburg University. It's called "Inflated Egos" and it's appearing next Friday night at 7pm. If you're in the area, stop by. :)
Yep. I'd know Carroll's voice anywhere. I haven't seen the ep where BB was afraid of Snuffy, but I'd believe it. The original Snuffy was scary looking. Lol. Anyway, I really enjoyed that. It's funny because I used to be afraid of :halo: . I guess if I ever went on that snow, he'd sneak up...
I thought I'd make a few comments here. First of all, it is pretty lucky that all those specials are out on DVD since they're never played on PBS anymore. (Too outdated for the network, I guess) They haven't even played "Elmo's World: Happy Holidays" this year. I thought that one would last...
Actually, I have the Groovy Ghoulies special on tape. If I knew how to post on You Tube, I'd try to put up some clips, but I guess that's not what were talking about here. Lol.
No, I'm not sawing14, because I don't know how to post on You Tube. Lol. Anyway, I saw the first three parts so far and I don't think it's quite as bad as people say. I liked the songs, and the "Christmas Carol" reference. But I do agree that this could have been better. Oscar was sort of...
Hi. I know this is kind of last minute, but I just noticed that Roscoe Orman was going to be on the "Today" show on NBC to promote his book "Sesame Street Dad." Just thought I'd mention it.
Well, I don't know if it will air on TV anytime soon because it hasn't in a few years. But luckily I taped it when it was on. I agree that this was about the best new Muppet film. It was both humorous and sentimental just like the original Henson's projects. In my opinion "Muppets from...
Okay. They say I haven't posted in several weeks, so I really should respond here.
Yeah. I'd like to see that too. Hopefully, it will be up on You Tube sometime if I can ever get the darn sound working on my computer.
I don't think Telly was there, neither were Bert and Ernie for that matter. That's surprising! Plus, Alice and Barkley sometimes appear at the parade, but I didn't see them either. It was good to see Abby, Herry and Fat Blue on the float though. I was also glad to see that Susan made it...
I thought I'd keep this thread going. I haven't seen 4123 (or whatever the heck the number was) before yesterday so I thought I'd post some comments here. I kind of liked Alex's appearance. (That was cool to have Alex instead of Alan, besides since Alan wasn't in the store in the street story...
Actually, I don't think I've seen :( and Grover together in a while. I think this could be done more often. Also, the reason they got David Rudman to perform Cookie Monster was that so he could interact with Grover more often, but I haven't seen a lot of that either. In the one with the...
