Well, we know what Jon Jon, Fanny and Shola are up to now or at least what they were doing at the time the 20th anniversary special aired. Then there was Kiesha Knight Pullam who had a good eight year run as Rudy on "The Cosby Show." I don't know about too many others though. I'm especially...
Yeah, just like when Bob's niece Samara was introduced, no one made any mention of Linda. You'd think at least Telly would have said something. They'd probably do the same thing if they brought back Olivia, or introduced another sister of Gordon's. Pretty much the same as it worked on "Boy...
I have to agree with that. As well as Steve and Eric and all the new guys are doing, Henson was pretty much irreplacable. I did think the joke was funny though. I must be a bad boy for saying that. Lol.
Yeah. I remember reading that at the SS Lyrics Archive. I was pretty surprised by the way :p acted in that one, but I guess character's personalities weren't fully established back in 1970. That's probably why I never saw that one when I watched the show as a kid in the 80s. By that point...
Let's see, I think Piggy might be his best. I wasn't even aware of the change until later on. Now, I'll admit there have been some talk show appearances where she didn't sound quite right, but when he has time to rehearse and put his heart into it, he can do a Miss Piggy just like Frank's...
Well, I think Sesame Workshop does have the right to show earlier clips with :). After all, he appears regularly on 'Plaza Sesamo.' So why they don't play his clips on the current SS, besides in the famous "Doo dee rubber duck" is beyond me.
Yeah, and I'm glad I finally got to see the thunderstorm sketch where David and Olivia are mentioned. That's something you'd never see on today's 'Sesame Street' unfortunately.
It would be nice to see those on 'You Tube,' if not the whole eps just clips or street scenes like they had before with quite a few episodes. That would be a good stroll down memory lane.
Just to clear something up here. It was actually Richard Hunt who performed the first Piggy on TMS in the "temptation" number. Remember she was shared by Oz and Hunt in the first season. It was actually the second season when Frank became her solo performer. Maybe a little bit before that...
It's alright. I guess it would be hard to find the original clip of that anyway. But again, I get the idea of how Brian's Elmo sounded. It was still nice to hear that.
Good clip, but I'm a little confused about your description. Are you saying that Kevin just dubbed in Elmo's one line of dialogue? I thought he did it with all of his lines.
That one was cool. Come to think of it, they have had a few 'what happens next' themed episodes in recent seasons. They maybe could have updated that sketch and played it in some new eps. Just some food for thought.
Yeah, it would be nice to see Grover and CM together. Especially, since now they have different performers (Eric and David). They could put them together more often, but I really haven't seen it happen much. I'm not too fond of Abby being in the spotlight too much though, because that's sort...
Okay, let me give it a try.
(Big Bird and Elmo approach Hooper's Store.)
ELMO: There's Hooper's store, but it looks so different.
(Enter Mr. Hooper)
MR. HOOPER: How may I help you?
(Dialogue between BB and Elmo follows just the way the one between Grover and Elmo did with the...
