That's a good thought. Except they still do play skits with Henson's Ernie from time to time. As for Hunt, in a way, I can see why he wouldn't get credit. Nothing against him or anything but you don't hear his voice too often on the show other than as Gladys in Ernie's apple tree song and...
I guess that's nothing new. I remember even on "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street," they didn't list Henson's name in the cast list. It was just Jim Henson's Muppets. Maybe some of the writers felt that it might be redundant to put Henson's name in the credits twice. I don't know.
Yeah. I've seen a lot of instances where BB and Zoe interacted. She's just a bit closer to Elmo these days. What's disappointing about a lot of the episode descriptions I read is that there's not too many of the classic characters such as Big Bird, the Count, Bert and Ernie, Grover, etc...
You might be right considering that's exactly what she said in "Muppet Treasure Island." Well, actually that was her playing Benjamina Gunn at the time, but her feelings are probably the same.
In all honesty, I haven't seen the meeting in the first Muppet movie, so I'd have to go by "The...
Just thought I'd point out that Herry did appear after "The Street We Live On Special." He had a cameo when Gina adopted Marco. He even did a voice over singing a song in the second episode in that series.
Anyway, it's true that Jerry's not in his best health these days, but I think the...
I've kind of wondered about that too. Luckily, even with Elmo's increasing popularity, they're still able to keep BB on the show on a regular basis, but now with Elmo and Abby both getting popular it does make me wonder how much airtime that would leave for the poor bird. But I agree with...
Hmmm. Maybe he's Olivia's long lost child. Lol. We'll have to wait and see. A lot of 'alphabet' themed episodes. That sounds kind of interesting. But in this case, I'd like to see them cut down on Cookie Monster's 'letter of the day,' at least in episodes where the letter is the focus of...
I really can't blame Big Bird there. Sometimes when are family has company, they just like to sit around and talk. I really don't like that because I never could come up with enough to say. I'd much rather play games with my friends. I'd really like to see that episode so I can comment more...
Wow! Another reason for me to get the disk set of "Dinosaurs."
About the cut/un-cut thing. Didn't the first one say 'complete' as well? I might want to check on that.
Hmmmm. I've seen the beginning of that one, but I haven't seen the end. That would be a good one for 'You Tube.' It's been a while since we had a new 'street scenes' episode up there. Let's see, some of the best Bob moments would be "People in Your Neighborhood," "Keep Christmas With You,"...
Gosh. There are probably a lot of them if you think about it. One example is in the Mac Davis episode with the "Hard to be Humble" song, since the 'h' word is in that song. There was also talk about Racquel Welsh being a sex symbol. I'll try to think of more examples.
I agree, you can't really blame Steve (or Eric for that matter) when their interviews are just ad-libbed. Muppet voices are pretty much dead-on in movies or commercials or anything rehearsed.
Oh, O.K. I guess that's why I didn't see it. I don't look at the "Muppet Headlines" thread too often. I probably should. Lol. I was thinking it would have been under 'TV appearances.' Anyway, thanks for the info, Waldo.
