Wait, why would Telly say 'why me?' Also, I don't think Fat Blue would be silent about being forced to dance with Grover. I hate to admit it, but I think Muppet Wiki was wrong on that one. I think they might have just thought it was Telly because it was Marty's voice that was heard. I'll...
That is something I wonder about too. Why wasn't Janice involved with that plot? She was a member of the band at the time. Was it established that she really quit? If not, why didn't she play the end theme with Rowlf? I guess Janice had to have been away for some time so she'd have time to...
Hmmm. I usually keep my sound low so it sounded like Jerry to me, but you could be right. Jerry usually just loops in his character's voices these days, so they could have decided not to use him for one line. After all, you hear Rudman voicing Fat Blue for one line in the "Grouchland" movie...
I might not be able to see much more of the new season now since I'm staring a new job next week and won't be home, but I caught today's episode and I'd have to say that so far it's much better than the past week. What I liked was they got Big Bird in the street story and in an insert. They...
Thanks. I know I saw that one before, but I couldn't find it again, when I did the search. I guess I'll have to add it to my 'favorites' list.
Yeah, but now I'd like to see "Journey to Ernie" come back. That would be a good way to get Big Bird, Ernie and most of the time Bert in every...
Yeah. I'm looking forward to that. 'Zoe casts a spell where everyone wears a tutu.' Hopefully, the 'everyone' there includes maybe Big Bird, Snuffy, Bert, Ernie, etc.
The openings up there, but I'd sort of like to see the new closing, I mean on You Tube so I can pause it to read the credits. See which actors/puppateers are still listed or whatever. I know it was there the other day, but I can't find it now. It might have been deleted or something. I don't...
I was actually wondering about that. I didn't know if Jerry still puppeteered or just looped in the voices for his characters. It's still good to hear his voice anyway.
I liked that part. It's always good to have different people do the story at the end rather than Trash Gordon all the time. Maybe they'll have something where Big Bird reads to Abby or maybe Bob. He still needs to make an appearance or two this season.
I think what they should do is only play "Elmo's World" if Elmo isn't in the street story or anywhere else on the show. That way they'll still get him in every episode, but have more time to play some classic clips. I thought today's ep was a bit bland, but they did get a Grover the Waiter...
Well, they do have a right to play the old skits. Remember that they had some older clips with Kermit in "The Street we Live On?" I think they'd be able to work out a deal with Disney and use :) in newer material for a big event like the 40th Anniversary Special. Maybe they could have both...
So Abby did show up. I didn't see that part, but I guess I didn't miss too much. As for Dave performing Howie, I guess it's possible. I know he doesn't do much work on "Sesame Street" these days, but there are always rare occassions when it happens. I guess only the people at "Sesame...
Okay. Now for my comments on today's show. I'm actually watching as we speak. I'm glad they got a Bert and Ernie sketch in today. I realize that was a repeat from a few years ago, but it's good that they haven't forgotten about those two. The highlight of today's show was "Meal or No Meal."...
I was thinking the same thing. Telly did seem more nuerotic than he had been the past few seasons. So Barkley did appear? I missed the "Wanda the Word Fairy" sketch. I guess I'll have to pay better attention.
Hmmm. I haven't really thought of that, but they did the same thing on the...
Well, Matt Vogel is a stand-in for Carroll Spinney and I hear that John Tartiaga or whatever his name is might perform Elmo if the time ever comes when Kevin isn't available. There probably should be a stand-in for Jerry Nelson as well so the Count and Herry will still be in action, but I've...
So, that was the second surprise the Count was talking about. I thought we weren't supposed to mention that. I actually didn't notice because I usually turn off the show at about twenty of nine, because that's when it usually comes on and I never really got into EW. No offense to anyone here...
I'll be the first to comment on today's show again. Lol. Sorry, Dr. Tooth. Anyway, I'd have to say that this ep was better than the last two and it did incorporate more characters. We did see Big Bird, but only briefly. Still that's a good sign. What I thought was really interesting was...
Actually, I think he did call himself Chris Robinson on the show, it's safe to say that it is his last name, meaning he came from Gordon's side of the family unless one of Susan's siblings has the same last name by sheer coincedence. But it's pretty likely he was the spawn of, well, maybe...
