hehehehehehhehehe!
I agree. Muppets Tonight was too new. They just handed us all these new characters that we're not used to. (which shouldn't be a bad thing. It's like getting a new sitcom.) If they had done that the wya they "introduced" Scooter, it might have worked better.
Sorry...
Yeah, but the point is, it wasn't successful here! It may have been over there (was it?) but, even though it was an excellent show, nobody is going to tune in for a half hour to see puppets!
It's sad.
As Beau could tell you, working over a distance is rough. Porbably wouldn't work on that for a while yet. But, I will send you drafts for you to add stuff for Fozzie like you said with the one we're working on now.
Well, I haven't even seen any of the new SS episodes! But, soon. Hopefully, soon. I keep hearing about Journey to Ernie. Or something like that.
I've noticed the whole Big Bird/Oscar thing. Adn, I understand perfectly why these performers haven't been doing as much. Imagine going to work...
Hmmm. That sounds cool. Hey, after we figure this and the Pigs in Space scripts we're working on out, how would you like to be part of a core group for Bear on Patrol, Foz?
Huh? Huh?
Scoot
The reason it bombed over there is because it originated over here in the US. It bombed here, and I (whether true or not) blame the station and time it was on. Mainly because I dislike Disney and all related things to it. I can't STAND the majority of the shows it puts out. (except Drew Carey...
"Yes, I did. He just said this place is like a pig sty."

"Hey! I'm Captain Link Hogthrob. and this is my spaceship!"

"Well, that explains everything."

Besides, you don't need to think everything through. I go to a movie, I just sit there and enjoy it. I try not to think about how many times someone breaks the laws of physics. The Matrix? Total nonsense! Any Star Trek film? Complete nonsense! Star Wars? So much nonsense, I can't even begin to...
That's the whole point! It is nonsense, and that brings us back to The Muppet Movie! How many times in that did you think it was just nonsense? Not that it's not the most emmotionally driven Muppet film, but there were points in that where it is just nonsense! That's what makes good comedy...
Oh, come on! Those were actually some of the few times picking on Beauregard was funny! Probably because it was the guest star in the first one.
Here's another Vet's Hospital where, surprise surprise, they DID NOT pick on Beau:
(Dr. Bob comes up with a miners hat and pick)
"Dr. Bob! You...
I don't have any clue what came after that. Well, I know, I just can't remember. Sorry!
It's your fault! You wouldn't sing!:D
Here's one:
"And now, it's time for... Pigs in Spaaaaaaaaaaaaace!!!!!! When last we left the spaceship Swinetrek, it was plummeting towards earth at an...
I think I liked Beau best in the Buddy Rich episode. The Gene Kelly one is among my favorites, but unfortunately, that's also the one where you start thinking Dr. Bob's being mean to him.
"The electrical stuff won't go through the wires! And everyone's blaming me!"
- Beauregard
"Oh, so...
You didn't like the Frackle idea?
Well, there goes my creative juices down the drain!
That could be really funny! It sounds very Muppety! Give it a chance!
Oh, thinking of which, I wrote shorter, better songs so we can have more. One of which is much more emotional because it's shorter.
Just so you know, a screenplay usually runs about... 100 some-odd pages. Sometimes 175 or so. You'll have to look it up.
