Yeah, Susan babysitting might be the most logical explanation, unless she's still working as a nurse at the hospital. I guess it's been quite a few seasons since that has been referenced.
Yeah. That was sesaon 34, because I remember they aired episodes from that year during the time they were airing season 36. They didn't air season 33 that year because the format was so different. But I do remember seeing that season 34 episode during the time they aired season 36. I guess...
I see. Maybe it was from sometime in the 90s when Steve started performing Ernie. I'm not exactly sure when the brighter orange Ernie with shorter hair actually came out. I might want to look that up. Anyway, thanks for the info.
What I liked about the street story was that for once, there was continuity. I remember the episode from a few years ago where Baby Bear was jealous of Curly Bear. They even had flashbacks from previous episodes. That's something I wish they would do more often. Another thought I had is that...
Yeah, it seems like Kermit and Mickey are good friends. After all, he seemed to enjoy doing the 'Mickey Mouse Club' thing on that episode of 'Muppets Tonight!" So that's sort of why it's beyond my realm of understanding why :) wouldn't like Mickey Moose.
By the way, did Jerry actually do the puppetry for the Count or did he just loop in the voice, or could you tell either way? Just wondering, because I hear that these days he usually loops in the dialog for his characters on "Sesame Street."
You mean Kermit is jealous of Mickey Mouse? I hadn't thought of that before, but you may be right. Though they did get along well in the "Muppets at Walt Disney World" special. Just something to think about.
Be careful, Count. You don't want to give away too many spoilers. Lol.
I think the Elmo getting jealous ep would work. After all, we've seen the way he was jealous of Rocco. Though it might work better if it were 'Big Bird gets jealous of Elmo.' Considering he's been the star before Elmo...
Well, it's been a while since I posted here, but I thought I'd comment on the Petula Clark episode. I have to admit, I was disappointed with Kermit when I saw it. He wouldn't let Mickey hang around backstage just because of his name. That would be like not wanting Gonzo around just because...
Okay, not too much new material in this episode. I liked seeing "Global Grover." I think it was a rerun from an earlier season. Still they haven't shown that segment in a while so it was good to see that. I think what I liked best was the cartoon with the song "The Moon Shines." I could...
Yeah and the way my local station is and my work schedule is, I already missed five or six eps this season, so even when they do finish the season, I'll still be quite a bit behind. Lol.
Yeah. I thought so since I read it in Muppet Wiki as well. I sort of wonder where Carroll was at that time. I think that ep was when Carroll was still performing body, voice and all. After all, he did that in "Deal or no Deal" as well. I guess Carroll just wasn't available for the 'alphabet...
Yeah. I have to admire that, because a lot of Dave's characters seem to sound alike (with the Baby Bear like sound). However, he is able to do a CM voice that's real close to Frank's and he's got the personality down as well.
I couldn't tell there. Since my brother was asleep in the other room while I was watching it, I had the sound muted and relied on the captioning. I have to agree with Drtooth's post. Since Carroll is still credited as both BB and Oscar, he'll probably at least be dubbing in the voice for a...
He did? It looks like we might be getting to the point where Matt voices him on a regular basis. That could be why BB hasn't had too big of a part this season. They might still be trying to decide. Anyway, I'm glad he was seen at the opening, but I sort of thought that would lead up to...
Yeah. I've noticed most of the Count's appearances (with the exception of the episode that introduced Chris) have been repeats, so I'm glad they used him in something new.
What about the one with Big Bird at the farm market? Was that one new as well? I haven't seen it before.
Yeah. I could see him doing an interview with BB (Baby Bear, not Big Bird) about pooridge or whatever or talking to Cookie Monster about healthy foods. They did seem to listen to us today about celebrities interacting with Muppets for the word of the day. Putting a tap dancing tomato in the...
