I don't know. That might turn out to be as bad as the pop-up book thing for Elmo's Christmas Countdown. I don't think fans would want to see a 40th anniversary special done that way.
Yeah. I thought about that too. They should probably call the places they go 'classes' or 'activities' rather than saying school all the time. It kind of gets redundant and repetitive too.
Yeah. I'm watching that one now. I also saw the 'Max the Magician' episode on YouTube as well. (Forgive me if I already mentioned that. It's hard to keep track.) Anyway, I guess I'll have to rely on this until my local station starts airing new eps in mid-October.
I was thinking maybe they could put Big Bird in a regular segment. After all, he used to be in 'Journey To Ernie' when they had that. There was also season 33 when he opened and closed the show. If they could do that again, they could still give Elmo and Abby enough time and Big Bird would...
Crap. I missed a new episode. My local station is still airing repeats. (Though according to the station's website, they say that the episode that begins the new season will start on October 5th. Maybe from there they'll go in order and air the ones that haven't been aired yet.) Maybe...
Yeah. I checked the link for my PBS station and they don't even give descriptions for the eps are supposed to air this week. Then the next week should be reruns as opposed to what Dantecat predicted. I might want to look into this some more.
Exactly. But I'm sure there's a rule about respecting others' opinions. It upsets me when people complain about these types of discussions. It's not you, Pooh. And I don't want to mention any names because I don't want to argue with Mi -- uh, that person and get in trouble. But I do get...
Well, that's true. But we should be able to talk about what will happen when a character or performer leaves the show. Or even whether or not the 'Fix-It Shop' is still around or not. I don't believe there are any rules against that.
I agree. Like I mentioned before, if a topic bothers somebody, then they shouldn't need to read it. But this is an open forum, so we should be aloud to discuss whatever we want whenever we want. After all, none of the moderators have said otherwise.
Anyway, I think it's pretty likely Big...
Okay, the 'number 6' episode airs on the 6th. That should be easy enough to remember. Though this coming week is the 22nd. The following week is Monday the 29th. Still that's good news.
Yeah. I thought they were doing pretty good with Bob up to the past few seasons. Last season, he only appeared once and this year, I don't know. Yes, Mike, I have checked the website. I know his name is still there. You might be right about the new format though. Also, the fact that they...
This would be a great idea, but I'm feeling skeptical too. After all, they have previously planned 'Kermit's Christmas Capers' and 'America's Next Muppet' and those didn't happen. I guess we'll have to wait to get more info on whether or not this is really set to air.
Actually, adult Gonzo fell for Piggy at times too, mainly early on 'The Muppet Show.' Remember how he pursued her in the Mummenshantz episode. Though his crush on her ended in the Madeline Kahn episode. He also showed interest in her in 'The Muppet Movie.'
Thanks, Oscar. At least we got a date confirmed. Since that's a few weeks from now, maybe PBS will get their act together by then. Lol. Let's keep our finger's crossed on that one.
It's possible. Take the characters on 'A Pup Named Scooby Doo' for example (young Velma being more quite and laid back, young Daphne being a spoiled brat, young Freddy being a moron). That's pretty common on TV shows with younger versions of characters. I guess it makes things more humorous.
One thing I want to mention that the episode that's scheduled for today is one that's based on Maria, so maybe there will be some mention on whether or not she's still at the Fix-It Shop or wherever else she might be working. On the other hand, the way PBS has been messing with the scheduled...
According to what I read at 'Yahoo!' they are supposed to air 'Maria the Cowgirl' on Tuesday in the afternoon, at least for my local station. We'll have to wait and see if that's correct.
Yeah. I just wish I had someway of knowing when. Even the website for my local station says that they were supposed to air new episodes next week. As of now, the only means of finding out is turning on the TV and checking when the show is on.
