I hadn't thought of the fact that Horatio was sort of semi-retired, but I do recall seeing a synopsis for "Don't wake the baby" a few seasons back. I do like the ones with worrywart Telly. I know that was more common in 80s eps, so I'm glad they're still doing that every once in a while. I...
I don't know about that. It seems like Murray's rap version of "People in Your Neighborhood" has really done some damage to Bob McGrath's original version. I think maybe that's something they should consider, keeping Murray for letters and numbers, but when they do "People in Your Neighborhood,"...
So are they just doing one new ep a week now? That's kind of strange.
That would really have been neat. You see what I mean. They have so many things from the old days that they don't even think about.
I agree completely. In fact, I was hoping they'd play that one, but unfortunately you know how they don't play classic segments like that anymore. Instead we get the 'Letter G Gegonials" from last season. I agree that it doesn't make sense to play something more than once per season when they...
I don't know. I think "Word of the Day" is getting old. What's kind of disappointing about the fact that they still have the Murray block format is that when I saw the video about Eric performing Grover for 'The Moster at the End of this Show" bit, I thought they would have an episode that...
I don't know about that, but I did catch Frank's voice in yesterday's ep with that chicken who sounded like Bert. It's good to know that he's still performing random characters as well as his own Bert, Grover and, Cookie.
Yeah. I actually thought Zoe, Rosita, Big Bird and Snuffy were being...
I've noticed that too. Actually, I've noticed that with Marty's Telly in yesterday's episode. I guess the Muppeteers are getting older and their voices are getting rougher. Just a theory. Or in David's case, he could still be working on the voice to try to make it more like Frank's. I don't...
Thanks for posting that. I never knew who Andy was, but I'm sure he was very talented. Plus it seems like it will still be a while before the Season 4 DVD comes out, so maybe I'll take a glance.
Yeah. I saw the Count. It was a shame there was no mention of him or any other Muppets, though they did mention on GMA today that "Sesame Street" should have been nominated.
You're right about that one. If someone like Gonzo had said that, she'd be:
 Oh, who cares!
Plus, I hear...
That's something I've wondered about that as well. i always thought :) himself din't want to marry her, but it does seem like there relationship has grown in recent years. Interesting to know that he may consider it some day.
That was a good save too. He would have gotten a huge karate chop...
I've thought about that too, but I have noticed the two of them don't really interact all that much in general, but it is possible. I know they've interacted in the segment with Snuffy on the trampoline and even recently in the "Wing on a Sling" episode. I guess that's a bridge they'll cross...
I made a pic that was kind of similar (not sure how to post it here), but I like that one better. The only Nelson voiced character in mine was the Count. (Though I know he did perform Elmo at one point.)
Yeah. I noticed a few sources did mention him as Snuffy. Even one video showed a clip of Marty's Snuffy when they mentioned that. I thought that was a bit strange, but I guess it makes sense because Snuffy probably wouldn't be around today if Jerry hadn't been around to give him life.
Yeah. It is something to think about because for a time Frank Oz's characters haven't been around that often, but when Eric and David took over as Grover and Cookie respectively, we've been seeing more and more of them in street scenes. Maybe the same thing will happen with the Count and...
I got the news just now. This is quite heartbreaking especially considering that he's been active with the Muppets (still performing the Count on SS, etc.) up to this day. I know Matt will probably cover his characters, but as Big Bird said upon the death of Mr. Hooper: It won't be the same.
Something I feel like I should mention here. Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, but I wanted to share the news that Sherman Hemsley the voice of B.P. Richfield on "Dinosaurs" has passed away. He has done a wonderful job with that for four great years and was great in all his other roles...
