Nobody will judge you, Sassette, er Collgoff. We understand. As great a job as Ryan is doing with Elmo, he's just not Kevin. So it's always good to have some hope on that.
I didn't know that, but this is a great occasion, even though Kevin left the show, he'll always be associate with Sesame Street and Elmo and even classic Muppets as well. Happy birthday!
I know the feeling. I have an appointment tomorrow too during the first airing of tomorrow's show. Do you get the same show more than one time a day where you live? I may be able to catch the 4pm airing or 8am tomorrow. I was wondering whether or not that was the same in your case.
Yeah. I was almost thinking maybe it was Jerry if that segment would have been filmed before his death.
Yeah. I've noticed that too. I guess Joey might be having the same problem that Marty Robinson and David Rudman seem to be having, with these guys getting older, their characters voices...
Yeah. Since this will be the last season with Jerry's material, it's always good to see the Count and his other characters (aka Fat Blue) make an appearance.
Yeah. I know what you mean. I liked how they carried the theme of jealousy out until towards the end with Grover and Dave Whatshisname...
Okay. I haven't seen the new ep yet because it doesn't come on until 1:00 where I live, but in the meantime here's something I've been kind of curious about. It seems that after a full week of new episodes, the show will start to only air on Thursday. For that matter Thursday episodes are...
Seems like Ryan may be the permanent new Elmo voice. SW seems to like him and he seems to be really good, we'll see what happens.
I knew the Count didn't sound right, but I didn't know that it was the mic. So that's what was going on there. Poor Matt wasn't given much of a chance there...
Don't worry, whoever writes the 'we've missed you' message. I'm back and I saw that appearance. Pretty good so far. Whoever's voicing Elmo now seems to be doing quite well. I do notice a difference though. The voice is a bit deeper, but still pretty good. Also, is it still Matt doing the...
That was good. It's too bad. That won't air. I also liked the clip of "Telly is Jealous." It's nice to see the final performances before Jerry's death and Kevin's departure.
Yeah. It's pretty evident the writers had that in mind, but like we were talking about on the other thread, they may have just worded it differently to avoid copyright infringement.
One thing I want to mention is that they had a clue on Jeopardy! about names with "Iggy" in the name and one of the clues was "she played first mate to Captain Link Hogthrob." Of course we know who that was: . Surprisingly none of the contestants got it. I guess they're not big Muppet fans...
That's why it would be nice to have a reincarnation of The Muppet Show for today, so that way they could have some guests who are still alive and active.
Oh, that's really sad. Since I heard he was still voicing Papa Smurf in the upcoming movie. I guess it turns out that was his last big...
Yeah. That makes sense. They haven't had a big appearance since the movie came out so they seem to be a bit out of character for small TV appearances. Maybe someone should write to Disney and make that request.
That's true. If this girl cares enough for her sister to make videos about how to handle problems when she becomes a teenager, why would she turn the other way and dream about Miss Piggy uncharacteristically attacking her? Heck, even Oscar the Grouch has more of a soft spot for kids.
That's...
Well, that's a good point, but did the show's writers take that into consideration? I still think that was more of Piggy crossing the line. Hopefully, they won't portray her like that in future projects.
