I guess any where Fat Blue doesn't fall at the end are the best. But if I had to pick my favorite, I'd probably go with the one with the big hamburger. That one's a classic.
Yeah. That's what I was talking about before, but considering that incident happened eight years ago, it doesn't sound right that it would be an issue now.
So Billy will still do Ernie? I know I read before the Peter Linz would take over as Ernie which wouldn't have made a lot of sense considering :p was already recently recast. Can someone clarify here?
Yeah. I know what you mean. I do recall an audio clip of an interview with Steve that he...
Wow! CM is getting more of his own segments than Elmo. I can't believe season 48 is coming so soon. Heck, I'm still waiting for season 47 to air on PBS.
Oh. I thought those were pretty recent. After :)'s absence in the Thanksgiving Day parade, I was relieved to see that Steve was still active with the Muppets. I had no idea that those were a few years old.
Oh, okay. That makes more sense then. Lol. I'll listen to that and I'll listen to the first one again as well when I get a chance and make some comparisons.
Well, Steve's :) had his share of outbursts too, specifically in MTI and VMX, but I see what you mean. It was more common with Jim's...
Well, it's sad when you think about it, because Link and the Newsman had just returned to the spotlight recently after being retired for so long after Jim's death. I'd hate to see them be phased out again, but we'll see what happens.
Oh, okay. I listened to that and I noticed the slight...
I wondered about that, mainly which Gordon era it took place in. Now we know it's the bald one that we all know today. Though Gavry's post about it being a different version could be true as well since so many sketches/songs get remade over the years, but you never know. Either way, thanks...
Okay. I take it this isn't the "Muppets Party Cruise" game I have. I'll have to check that out when I get a chance. Yes, :) has had alternate performers for a time during the Steve Whitmire era, most famous being Artie Esposito, but John Kennedy also performed him in "Muppets Ahoy!" Maybe...
That's a good question. Maybe you should check out the ABC website. I think they still have videos of "The Muppets" up there. There was also that recent "Pigs in Space" You Tube video where Kermit made an appearance. Can't remember the link to that one though.
Oh, they televised that? I would have watched if I had known.
Nah. I'm curious about that too. It might be good to have some ideas as to why he left. But you never know. Sometimes rumors can be a little too deep and dark, so you sort of have to see both sides of things.
I know what you...
I wonder about that too. I was watching MCC last night as a tribute and it seems like Steve's :) was pretty dead on there, but in Steve's most recent appearances as :), I've noticed the raspiness in his voice. I worry about that because Disney has let go of Paul Winchell as Tigger because they...
You forgot an important word there: The "Great" Gonzo, but I guess that's another story.
I don't know. You never replied to my PM. I'm kind of hurt there. JK. Could you let me know your last name? I could friend you on Facebook.
Yeah. I guess now I know why no one answered my last post, since we're all so concerned with this. When I saw that post the other day, I was concerned. Like I said, I noticed Steve/Kermit has been phasing out of recent Muppet appearances, but I was hoping that maybe he was just taking time...
I think that's how we abbreviate it now. So anyway, my friend and I were watching "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" recently (Because watching Christmas movies helps cool us off on hot days in the summer) and I was curious about something.
The closed captioning said that Miss Piggy's...
I disagree. I think the Muppets got quite a bit of airtime in that. I especially liked it in the "Me Party" song, when the Gary/Mary relationship (or lack thereof as far as the song was concerned) was compared with the Kermit/Miss Piggy relationship.
I'm not sure this was posted here before or not, but just for the heck of it:
What did Ernie say when Bert asked if he wanted some ice cream?
"Sure, Bert."
