Forgetful Jones (David Rudman), Biff and Sully, Harvey Kneeslapper, Roosevelt Franklin, (Matt Vogel), Professor Hastings (Eric Jacobson). I'll try to think of more later on.
Okay. That's what I was thinking. It will be well worth the wait. You'll have to all keep me updated as we get closer to the time.
That must be neat that even people who have left the show were able to make it. I'll have to check that out when I get a chance.
Again, I reiterate my previous question. When will we see/hear this final performance? Sorry I don't mean to be a pest by repeating myself, but the suspense is killing me.
I agree. Since Dave's been Cookie and Steve's been Ernie (or in the case of this ep, Billy as Ernie) the two of them haven't interacted much. Seems like that's always been a Jim and Frank thing.
I was wondering about that too since as of season 48, we really haven't heard Carroll as his characters in new material. Does anyone know when we'll hear the last of Carroll's performances. Season 50 premiere or before then? (I know SS seasons are recorded quite some time ahead of time so I...
I just read the news on the web, I was kind of surprised, but then realized we all saw this coming, from the classic ABC-DEF-GHI song to the memorable grouchy moments by Oscar. We'll all miss you, Mr. Linney.
Maria: That's Spinney, Daffy. Spinney.
*gasp* How dare they!
BTW, the season 48 eps are on dailymotion.com. I found that out because I was looking for them since I work during the day and don't have time to see them on my PBS station. Just thought I'd share that info.
I agree that it was nice seeing Granny Bird again. Plus I recall when this episode originally aired there were quite a few complaints that she didn't appear, so I'm glad they addressed that in this repeat episode. Though I can't help but wonder who voiced her. Could it have been Matt?
Also, I...
Oh, okay. I didn't see Carroll was credited on imdb so that's why I thought he was absent from that altogether.
:):o:concern: So that's why I thought he was absent from that.
Thanks for clearing that up. I guess that's kind of like Frank looped in the voices for Miss Piggy and Sam in the Andy...
I just saw it on You Tube that's why I'm posting now so sorry in advance for bumping an old thread.
Though as for my thoughts on the special, I thought it was very good. Some times I forget that SS takes place in New York so the fact that they met people from different cultures in different...
Well, they should. I know Barkley was on the show for some time after Linda left, so I'm sure he'd want to see his mistress. Come to think of it, it probably would be the same deal with Wolfgang and Uncle Wally or Odie and Lyman. Lol.
Oh, okay. I get it, kind of similar to closed captioning but for seeing impaired rather than hearing impaired. Yeah, maybe it was a WVIA-TV thing, but I'll check my other channels as well. If that is a regular setting on my TV I should figure out how to turn it off.
I have kind of a strange question. When I was watching the show today, I heard a female voice over commenting on what was happening on the show. (Ex: "We see Nina twirling," "Snuffy lifts his trunk," etc. Yes, I know it's not a trunk, it's a Snuffle but that's what the voice over lady called...
