Okay. I didn't see it of course and I don't want to read too many spoilers for in case this does surface on You Tube or something like that and I don't want to go back ten pages and read all the posts here now, but I did want to ask about Steve's other characters. We know Matt is :) now and it...
Hey, it's completely understandable. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yeah, it is hard to get used to anyone else as Kermit since Jim Henson was the official Kermit for so long. Kind of like when Mel Blanc died, the Looney Tunes characters had new voices and it was hard to get used to...
Lisa Landry of Sister, Sister. :)
Yeah it seems like Frank's  was always the sweeter one. (Maybe if Frank was still performing Piggy, her smilie wouldn't be 'mad.' Lol.
Yeah, that's something I noticed when I used to watch Hollywood Squares, I know that was a taped show rather than a...
Well, in a live interview wouldn't that have been Eric ad-libbing? So the writers wouldn't have been at fault there. Not trying to put Eric down in any way, but yeah, it does seem like Piggy has gotten a bit too mean of late.
I noticed that, especially with her implying that she wants Gonzo...
Okay, you guys might hate me for this, but I thought Matt was spot-on with Kermit in that clip. It seems like so far we've just been going by brief clips in the TOTW videos, but now that he got to say more, it seems like Matt is really putting his heart into it. I wouldn't know that the voice...
Yeah, that may 'splain why they had Clifford host MT! instead of Kermit. Seems like they didn't want to put Steve's Kermit in the type of role where he was "in charge" the way Jim's was.
I have to agree there. When he sang it on Sesame Street, I noticed the voice was off. The best version of Jim's Kermit singing "Bein' Green" will always be the TMS eps with the two Peters. (Ustinov and Sellers) :)
I agree. I notice the difference, but the fact that :) is being used more often than he was in the past few months is a good thing. Ever since :)'s absence in the Thanksgiving parade and the earlier TOTW videos, I was getting a bit worried.
I agree, after all Tresasure Island was based on the book, so maybe the real Captain Smollett was temperamental (I never read the book in its entirety so I wouldn't know.) and in VMX Kermit was mainly doing Jimmy Stewart/George Bailey in terms of temper tantrums, so yeah, Steve's Kermit really...
Well, Deadly did seem to sound like this one would be the last one this week, which makes sense with the weekend coming. We'll have to see what happens on Monday or even Tuesday since Monday's the holiday to find out if these are back to a weekly basis, or still done daily. Again, I still...
Well, at least we have responsible mods who will catch people who post nasty comments and get those posts deleted and maybe banned. What made me mad at the Taco Bell Corporate Office forum was that they didn't post IP addresses or anything and I flagged that idiot's messages and everything and...
Exactly! I think that's the problem on the writer's end that they seemed to be blaming Steve for. Was it really Steve's fault that Kermit was ready to commit 'frogcicle' suicide in VMX? Heck, no! It's just the way the scripts are written. Just like the idea sort of similar to what...
I like how that acknowledged that they're doing it more than once a week now. Though initially I felt that they were just sort of catching up since the one with Matt's Kermit was delayed for so long. Who knows?
