My mom had bought 3 Muppet tapes when my brother was born. Muppet Treasures, Children's Songs and Stories with the Muppets, and The Kermit and Piggy Story. My brother loved them, but didn't really get atteached to them. So, then when I was born, we had those tapes. I watched them from the very...
One of my characters has sun glasses without eyes behind them. He seems to work pretty well that way.
Also, with Floyd, :sing: they're not really sunglasses. It's cloth and foam (and feathers I assume for the eyebrows) so he can blink. I'd like to try doing one like that sometime.
Wow!
Beau, you have outdone yourself! That is absolutely brilliant! Wonderful! Great! Grand! ... Ambidextrous!
I don't know what it means, but it sounds good.
It looks wonderful, Beauregard! Great!
Well, actually, I haven't been able to actually paint any of my eyes as of yet. On ANY of my puppets. But, I'd imagine someone would know. There's been threads that have popped up on here. I'll show you one of my puppets sometime.
Yeah, I loved that scene too. I could hardly see part of it, cuz someone opened the door (the theater I was in had the door directly behind the screen  ), but, I still loved that scene.
Hehe! That's cool. You do look a bit like Charlie Brown. Do you have a picture of you in that shirt on your site? I thought you did, but, maybe I'm mistaken.
LO- .... Hey!
*mutter mutter mutter*
:sympathy: : *mutter mutter mutter*
 : What are you muttering about?
:sympathy: : I've never birthed a baby before, I just want it to make sure who it's "mutter" is!
 :flirt: : .... Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.
LOL! Purple pants.... hehe!
I used to have a sweat shirt and pair of sweat pants that was entirely purple... God! To think I wore that thing out in public!!!
No, Batman slid down a pole and was magically into his suit by the time he reached the other end... yeah, Tv show. Not movie, but...
Hey, thanks for posting that, Foz.
I knew one of the Goblins from the beginning was Brian Henson. One of the goblins from the beginning was also Jim Henson, before the voice got added over (you can see a picture of the two performing together from this scene in No Strings Attached), but, I've...
I hope all goes well for you. Surgery is not a nice thing. It'll be great to see you back here, healthy (as healthy as is possible in this world), and having fun! But, in the meantime, I hope you recover well, and, have a muffin on me!
 : Dr. Bob! Why are you trying to put that sponge...
I use any number of things for eyes. Ping-pong balls, plastic spoons, sun glasses, you name it! It makes for a wider variety... My favorite so far is ping-pong balls though, like Tztz said, depending on the design of the puppet.
I know it's been said that very few Muppet preformers did voices in Labyrinth (Brian Henson, Kevin Clash), but, do you think they would have made an exception in minor, tow-line rolls? I was wondering if Dave Goelz played any of the Goblins. I know it's said that none of the Muppeteers VOICED...
I love them! Those are cool! I was especially frightened by that Miss Piggy one.
I think my favorites are Link, Sweetums, and Statler. They're cool! :boo:
Everyone gets this. It's used to keep spam away (or something like that).
Don't worry. Everyone on here talks too much! We've got, like, 3 or 4 threads dedicated to that very thing! ;)
What the hey???
How did you post six smilies??? We're only supposed to be able to post five!!! Amazing!!!
(I even had to cut one out of this post so I could post!!! Wow! Are you God?)
I was talking to a friend of mine the other day, and he mentioned that, last year after one of the Journey to Ernie segments, they played the clip where the two puppets are sitting there going: "Fat." "Cat" "Mat." Bat." and then the "Mahna Mahna" character pops up and starts singing really fast...
I wasn't offended by The Sesame Street characters on the Simpsons in the least bit. I thought it was great! Like was said, it's a parody. I think we're all old enough to take what we can give out.
