I have looked online for the answer to my question, but I just can't seem to find it. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I decided to ask someone here. I know there are several on here who have experience in obtaining a copyright, so maybe you'll know the answer to my question:
Is it...
"Boys aren't supposed to sew." ... yup, that sounds familiar.
I never say that I "make" puppets anymore. ... I say I "build" them. Sounds more manly. ;)
I know a lot of people who support what I do, and I know a lot of people who think it's childish or silly. College is something I can't...
I know there is some debate over the From the Balcony series, nevertheless, it has offered some great moments. What are some of your favorites?
One of mine is while Pepe is reviewing Alot Like Love...
"I heard this film's financeers had a choice: make Alot Like Love, or put eight million...
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they are only the performers for this show, because Bill Barretta was still doing some performances on there shortly after they started. I just think they couldn't afford Steve and Dave for a free web show. :)
... just a theory.
I think they're just for From Teh Balcony. They took over way back in episode nine.
Speaking of which, looking back at some of the older episodes, there are some where I guess Drew's voice does sound pretty close to the Richard Statler. The time I really didn't like the voice was in episode...
I think the Statler voice is okay. More Jerry Nelson than Richard Hunt, and I've always preferred Richard.
Waldorf's really pretty good!
I think it's still Victor Yerrid (Waldorf) and Drew Massey (Statler). Known to Greg the Bunny fans as Tardy the Turtle and Count Blah. :p
Fraggle: Cantus or Gobo
Doozer: Turbo (We're rev!)
Gorg: Junior
Other: Sprocket and Mudwell the Mudbunny
Songs: "Goodbye, Goodbye" "Learn to Love a Wimp"... There are others, I'd have to think about it.
Episode: "Boober's Quiet Day" "Gone, But Not Forgotten"
He sounds a bit younger and more nasal than Snuffy. Take Snuffy back a few years, and you've got Thog. Jerry did something similair with Gobo and Robin.
I think I will. The reason I stopped writing it is because it began too much like Muppets From Space. But I think I could come up with a better way to start it out. (at one point, on Scooter's way to stardom, he befriends Alice Cooper!)
I didn't really mind the pilled look, either, but I always like to hear about stuff that could improve what I'm doing.
What did you use for your flesh tone? I have two "human" puppets I'm starting to work on, and I'm not sure what to use. I have box of rose pink and a box of taupe (they didn't...
Thanks for the help, buck!
There's a plastic cutting board that they sell at JoAnn's that's fairly flexible. That's what I've been using. I think I'll try something different, though.
I have question, though. "Placements at Wal Mart." Are you talking about table placemats, or something else?
Phantom,
I've noticed that on the last puppet I did with the antron fleece. It reminded me of Kermit from the second (or maybe the third) season of The Muppet Show. I thought maybe it just did that after being dyed. I'll try doing it in a large bucket or something.
We've never really had...
A Rowlf story would be awesome!
Have you noticed, though, IAVMMCM was really the first Muppet project since Jim's death that centered around Kermit. In both MCC and MTI, I think the two main Muppets were Gonzo and Rizzo.
I wrote a story for a movie about Scooter. I even started the script...
Hello, there.
I'm looking for any suggestions on how to create the perfect mouth for your puppet. I've tried several different techniques, but I'm really not satisfied with any of them, and I would like something that will give the most flexibility without coming apart at the seams (I thought...
