The pattern posted here in the forum has 6.5" from the tip of the nose to the base of the back of the neck written on the pattern, are you saying I should increase that size to almost 14-16.5" at the upsizing of 125-150% you mentioned??? that seems aweful big..?.. JH must have had some BIG...
I havn't decided if I want to do a full body puppet or just a waist up puppet, I thought of just a waist up hand puppet since I want to get MR's poser puppet.
1) The FP head pattern states it is 6.5" is this the size of the head to go for, or is an accurate Kermit puppet head bigger?
2)...
Do you have any suggestions for tweeking the Fisher Price head pattern to make it better and a little more accurate?
IE.. Make the whole head bigger, Add a little here, take away a little there, make this bigger, change this area on the mouth, ETC...

Can the stains be hid when it is dyed?
I plan on doing a Kermit puppet, will one yard work for him?
What kind of shipping do you charge to PA?
Thanks,
Lynn
Well that shot my bright idea all to heck!! LOL
I take it polar fleece must be a polyster blend or a Mohair/polyester blend?
I know from trying to dye Boba Fett belt girths Mohair/polyester blends don't accept dye well.
Other then the Antron fleece, what kind can I get at a store like JoAnn...
Thanks for the great info!!
For dying the material I would use RIT dye, so I asssume I should start with a yellow base and add green to it until I get to the desired color?
It would probably better to start lighter and go darker then the other way around.
Lynn
I'm wanting to make a Kermit puppet and I have a few fleece questions.
1) Do I need the Antron fleece, or can I use fleece I found at Joann fabrics? I'm not sure what kind it was, but it looked good and felt heavy.
I'm not looking to make a fully screen accurate Kermit, but a very nice replica...
I too am trying to work on making a Kermit puppet, I have done a search and all I have found was a head pattern, is there a pattern some where here for the rest of the body?
If so, can someone please post the link?
Thanks,
Lynn
