    Thanks for the comps guys!! Puppetise, thanks for the offer, but I just used the FP pattern readily available here on the forum for the head and I just added the neck. I upped the size listed on the pattern 125% to get it to 8 1/4" for the main dimention. Lynn

    What kind of fur material is used for Elmo and Cookie Monster? What lenght of fur is needed 1"-2"? Is it readily available at JoAnn fabrics or is it a special material that is hard to get? Lynn

    I've been reading that people use ping pong balls for the eyes of puppets. I'm assuming they are used for Kermit as well? Are there more then one sized Ping Ping ball, or are there different sizes? Are they just cut exactly in half, 2/3'rd, or just a little over half? Lynn

    Thanks for the info!! I figured it by taking 6.5 and doubling it (100%) to get to 13.5" and then added another (50%) 3.25 making it 16.75" It did it on the calculator the first time and got the measurment you got and I said "no that can't be right" and then did it my way. LOL. Lynn
