Yeah. There are some things you just can't appreciate until you realise the details are made by shape and sculpting than by the paint.
In its own way the dodgy paint adds character, giving the items their 'retro' look, but...

Just a word of warning to anyone looking at expanding their collections of this, or any other, line. That special elusive, sought after piece will often be found in a seller's bulk lot, and you'll get more than your share of extras.

In the pre-Palisades days, my collection was very Big Bird-heavy (before other Muppets became so represented). My collecting instincts were so finetuned that I could instantly recognise Big Bird's legs among the clutter of plush toys in thrift shops.

Thinking about it now, Herry (who isn't listed as an option) seems to epitomise so many of Jerry's characters: Bold and potentially-intimidating, but always displaying a sweetness, a weakness, a vulnerability that makes the character endure.
