There's still going to be problems, though, in creating something that will be flexible and poseable. I guess they could go with a flocked vinyl...
I'd be more worried about the flock rubbing off...didn't they go through about 7 Piggy heads on one of the movies?
There's a full-body photo of the "Big 5" taken from behind while they're jumping on the stage - should be great for size comparisons...if I could find the rotten thing!
Ok - you all heard him...that's a verbal contract - a contract ya hear? If anything happens and that Bear doesn't see the retail light of day we're assembling our attorneys and coming after you!
On a different note, you're looking to make Gonzo's nose flexible? I admire the attention to...
I worry that, given the length of time since Kermit was released and Gonzo was announced, that the line has lost whatever momentum it might have had. It's a shame, but I see this line finishing soon too - in a worst case scenario even before we get Gonzo and/or Animal (after all, we've had no...
I also got the impression it was a guide for creating merchandise and non-puppet Muppet performance. My initial thought was that it could be a guide for traditional and/or CGI animators, but were things advanced enough for that while Jim was still around?
Have you considered attaching the head to the frame with a slightly flexible plastic? That way, when you take a step it should "bob" slightly and look les static. It shouldn't be too difficult to leave a path to the back of the head open as well so that you can put your hand into it and perform...
It seems those dates actually come from Amy herself - it's post number 90 on this page:

Yay! Gonzo, here I come!
Hey Travis, how well are the Kermits selling? Does it look like the line will continue beyond (or even to!) Gonzo and Animal? In the grand scheme of things, how important are the Muppets to MR?
Maybe he bought the Piggy head that turned up on eBay a while back...I still say she's not perfect though, there's something about her eyes in the full-frontal shots (hmmm, something about that phrasing sounds a little suspect!) that isn't quite right.
Piggy in profile looks good, but from front on...there's something not quite right.
Would love to see what this guy could do with Fozzie - mostly out of curiosity, but I could be moved to bid on him (since I really doubt we'll get him from Master Replicas)
Am I the only one wondering how a saving of $54.80 on TWO items is more than a $50 saving on one?....:p
But thanks for the heads-up on possible prices Travis - not great news, but not unexpected either.
I'd hope that Fozzie would be next - his size is really the only factor that I can see creating difficulties (and I'd be happy to accept a waist up poser if it was the only way to get him). While Rizzo, Pepe or even Scooter would be more economical, I worry that going with the lesser known, more...
Give it another shot Travelling Pat - I can see them...
They're looking great - Animal is a HUGE improvement...which really sucks because I wasn't planning on getting him - now...not so sure!
Would be interested to hear what improvements you feel are due Terry, there is something around...
The MR website has the weight listed on there...I'm too lazy to go check, but from memory it was about 30lbs - around 15 kilos.
The DHL on this to London was almost as much as the Frog himself, so I ended up having him shipped to a US friend (free shipping from MR) and then she posted him on...
It literally closed while I was looking at it...I'm wondering if an ex-Creature Shop employee was selling things they shouldn't be and the CS complained.
