While the Muppet Theater sounds impressive, it's unlikely to be what everyone would want. Would it include the stage? The orchestra pit? The seats? The theater boxes? At best, we'd probably only get the stage (and even with the curtains, it would be a lot of blank space), the first row of...
What was wrong with the blue? I guess that I'm the only one who kinda liked it. What do you have in mind for a more appropriate color, Ken?
I've checked out pics of Gonzo's nose, and it looks like it's pink with a purple airbrush over it...or is it the other way around? Well, whatever it...
The mini figures with the Gorgs is a novel idea, Jamie. However, I don't think that they'd make a Doc figure. For my pics, I'd cheat a little with the Doozers and Sprocket -- I'd make the Fraggles about the size of Kermit, Doozers the size of Rizzo, and Sprocket would be...I don't know, maybe...
I hope that changes eventually. I've been watching a lot of the old Fraggle Rock episodes, and I'm feeling mighty sentimental. A Travelling Matt, along with Gobo, Red, Wembly, Mokey, Boober, and Cantus, would be perfect. Oh, and Sprocket too!
As for Sesame Street, I've already said how...
I had an idea similar to the one about crates, but mine was slightly different -- how about Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo coming with the crates from The Great Muppet Caper?
BTW, y'all should check out the new issue of ToyFare, where they have a better picture of Tuxedo Gonzo -- turns out that...
All these are great and all, but how about getting Lew Zealand in his pirate get-up?
Sign me up for Mad Monty, Clueless Morgan, and Poly Lobster as well. Spa'am too.
I recently found the Muppet Series 3 figures (love 'em!!!), but when I set them up with the others I noticed something curious. Does anyone else think that Dr. Teeth is a little small compared to the other figures? I pictured him to be at least the same size as Rowlf.
There's some better pics of the Henson image at Figures.com:

I'm betting that he's the special one available through the collector's club as well.
These figures look fantastic. One quibble, though: does...
Love the new pics of the figures, Ken. I'm going to be mighty broke this year.
The pic of the Jim Henson prototype art is intriguing. I remember you mentioning that you've been wanting to do one, but were waiting for permission from Jim Henson Productions. Could this be the mystery...
Maybe I'm coming from a different place here, but I don't see that much of a problem. I'll probably pass on Tux Beaker and Bunsen, but that Swedish Chef variant is way too cool to pass up.
As for the price, well, I'm used to buying those darn Hasbro Batman Animated four-packs just to get one...
Deal Me In!
This looks like so much fun. I'm basing my pics on the general formula used so far -- two "main" characters (Kermit, Gonzo) paired with two "obsure" characters (Crazy Harry, Link Hogthrob). Anyway, here's my choices (based on probability, of course, and keeping in mind that Sesame...
Actually, if Rizzo can be offered as a solo figure, why can't Robin? I'm not exacty sure what he could be packed with...maybe some of the props from "The Frog Prince" or something to that effect.
As for Marvin Suggs, why not? Sure, he's kinda a Whatnot, but imagine how cool his costume...
I'll forgive you, :p .
Congratulations on your recent marriage, Ken. I would have posted sooner, but my computer access has been rather spotty lately.
A box of candy with Gonzo? I guess the flowers didn't work out cost-wise / looked crappy / something. Oh well. BTW, is Gonzo's tux...
Here's a new "editorial" on The Onion's website which involves the Muppets. Frankly, after a few months of searching out the CDs on eBay, buying the new action figures, and catching up on all the Muppet information I missed since my childhood; it hit a little too close to home...
