Keeermit, you are one of the best things to happen to the puppetry part of this forum in quite a while. I read in one of your posts that you are planning on doing a 'how to' section on your web site. YOU, sir, ROCK!
:)
Awesome puppets! Wish I had them! What is so cool is that you did...

What do you guys think? I really doubt it myself. Looks more like a store bought stuffed animal.
Remember, this week you can get all 3 muppet movie DVDs for $20 at Best Buy. Or, take the Best Buy ad to a store near you that will price match. I'm doing that tomorrow, bringing the BB ad to Walmart and getting all 3 movies. Better than buying the 2 I don't have yet for $18.
:)
Phillip, sorry. I didn't see any copies for PS2 as I don't have a PS2 so I never check out the games for it. I will definitely check the next time I go and will post here if I see any.
I just checked Walmart and they have the game for PS2 for 19.99 and didn't see it for any other platform...
:excited:
Just wanted to pass this along. I just happened to get the last copy at my store this weekend. Lucky find! If you want this game, call your local Costco and see if they have it(for those with memberships). I don't know where else this game could be found anywhere near this price...
I remember how we were all happy and excited when the Henson Company bought the muppets back from that German company. Then they turn right around and sell them off again. Why??? You would think they would have wanted to hang on to the muppets and use them for productions, but no. It's like they...
I know exactly how you feel. I did the same thing with Star Wars stuff, and I finally realized I had to quit collecting. Now I have 1 and a half huge closets full of Star Wars toys and figures. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it all.
Just a friendly reminder to Columbia Pictures for them to get crackin' on bringing us A Christmas Toy to region 1 DVD by this Christmas. Now is the time to be working on it. Let's go, folks!
Maybe it wouldn't hurt if you put it on a DVD together with an UNEDITED version of Muppet Family...
*Hops on rugby's soapbox*
I hope nobody here is suggesting that making a replica muppet for your own personal enjoyment is somehow wrong or a bad thing. If somebody is suggesting that, then all fan art is wrong, bad, illegal. Some laws are just dumb laws, and if making a replica Kermit for...
Whoops. Looks like we(or maybe I)chased the pros away. They haven't posted since this thread.
It may sound silly, but this reminds me of dreams I'd always have as a kid when I was really into building puppets and wanting to work for Henson. I'd dream I would meet up with a muppet insider...
Wow! Thanks for all the kind words and advice! By the sounds of it, the Henson company I wanted to work for was 15 to 20 years ago. That probably would have been the best time and chance to go for it, especially with Jim alive. If I ever get around to completing some puppets, maybe I'll think...
Does anyone else have one of the Muppet Workshop sets? I have the monster set. It's pretty cool. Too bad the puppet wasn't more muppet like, with being able to put your hand up through the body instead of the back of the head. It's still cool though, but there's always something about a...
That's great! Nice display!I think the Muppets and Christmas go hand in hand. They always have for me. I think it must have had something to do with the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas special and album.
