Hey I thought y'all would be interested in knowing that the new FR dvd is at Best Buy now a little earlier than it was supposed to come out. It is a great dvd and I highly reccomend it. The hidden episode is pretty fun to find and the Doc and Sprocket special is short but interesting. So yeah go...
I know I am into some of the indie punk rock especially Dropkick Murphys, Anti-Flag, Street Dogs and Flogging Molly. They are some great bands. I know part of what I really like about indie rock is that a lot of the bands' songs are actually about something as oppossed to a lot of pop songs just...
MFC all the way. Like a few others have said it is also one of my all time favorite Muppet productions. To me nothing can beat all the great Christmas songs, all the Muppets together and seeing Jim Henson at the end. If only the vhs and dvd versions weren't so chopped up it really takes away...
Are there a lot of classic sketches on this or is it mostly new stuff? I know the ones Pug Lover listed are classic but what about the rest of the dvd?
That is a good question. I never really thought about it much but I think in the back of my mind I always thought of it being in England because thats where the Muppet Show was filmed but that wouldn't make sense since none of the Muppets have English accents nor is there any mention of English...
This sounds like it would be a really and very interesting documentary. I hope it really does happen. It would be neat to learn more about the other SS around the world and see exactly how this documentary comes together.
I totally agree. Especially those final episode where you see the characters figuring out how there all connected and Marjory explaining to Gobo that everyone is magic. Those last few episodes always leave me like "wow."
The whole show is so great and I don't know if I have a specific favorite part but the funniest line has to be when Sam is explaining his production at the end and he says something like "It's a tribute to all nations but mostly America." That line just cracks me up. :attitude:
I know the frusteration that y'all feel. I used to let it bug me but then I just got to the point where I was like who cares. People will many times find anything to judge you on pretty much just to be judgemental or something. So if it wasn't for the love of Fraggle Rock there probably would be...
Garfield is the best! The comic you posted is hillarious. I do still try to read his new comics every day. Garfield is the only comic in the paper now that I still really like. Gotta love that fat, lazy cat! :flirt:
I love the episode "The Preachification of Convincing John" when Doc reads Sproket some of his diary where he is reminded of his idea to sew a button on a fried egg. He then spends the rest of the episode trying to figure out how to do this. I also really like Doc on Muppet Family Christmas. His...
Mona Lisa Smile is a totally amazing movie. I also highly reccomend it for all. I don't know what exactly is so great about it but it has become one of my favorites. I guess I like how it is just very relatable even though it's supposed to takes place 50 years ago.
That is totally like a dream come true to me. A full season of Fraggle Rock in just one year. I just pray to God that this is true and that someday the full series of Fraggle Rock will be available to all on dvd. :excited:
Sorry if I sound totally dumb here but I can not think of who either of those actors are. Who did Jeffrey Tambor play on MFS and what are some things that David Alan Grier is on? I'm sure I know who these actors are but I'm just haing trouble putting faces with the names. Thanks to...
It's a great calendar. I just bought it. Not only are the pictures cool it also has all the SS characters birthdays on it which I found totally exciting. I highly recomend it. I've seen it at Sam Goody and Suncoast for those who may be curious.
My Friday the 13th was pretty much like any other normal day except at work. I work at a day care center and all the kids in my class were acting posessed. They were all biting eachother, throwing tantrums for no reason and overall just in very irritable moods. It was quite a stressful day there...
It's always so cool to hear the positive affect Fraggle Rock has had on people to this day. What other show has helped so many people. I know I still find it a very relatable show. The episode where Red wants to be Mokey I still can relate to. I've never been 100% happy with who I am and still...
