Thank you. :) The need to conform is something that has always annoyed me with the world today.
And thanks for the tip. I haven't checked Walmart much for SS shirt but I'll have to start. Kohls and Target are also pretty good plus all 3 stores are a whole lot cheaper than the ones I used to buy...
When it comes to the whole Animal debate I do think he's funny as a member of the EM and on the Muppet Show. I just don't like how he's kinda been separated from the band recently. It makes him lose a piece of his personality and he just hasn't been as funny all the time. I do like Animal I...
I always where my SS clothes proudly. People usually find my love of SS ( and other Muppet productions) cute, funny or immature. When it come to SS the truth it's a funny show. I have to admit I'm more of a classic fan but I'll still like some of the new stuff. People just have their own...
I think my favorite is kinda obvious. Like it's Janice fer sure.:flirt: She is just so cool. I love her attitude in life just laid back and enjoying it while eating some organic foods and playing great music. She's like my Muppet idol and the one I'd most want as a best friend.
I'd have to agree with MrsPepper that this was a funny episode. The weatherman bit was great a very Statler and Waldorf heckler feel. I loved the balconism for the week it was such a true one and I laughed out loud to their end dance. I thought the new puppeteers seemed to be doing better this...
I would have loved to have seen Don Music and Placido Flamingo develop more and they probably would have if Richard Hunt was still around. They had some of the best songs like Mary Had a Bicycle and The Telephone Opera. I agree with Bear that Forgetful Jones and Gladys would definitly have...
That image is really upsetting. Kermit need to stay his own frog not just some disney logo. I really hate seeing the jim henson company so split up. It's always depressing to read things from before he died and everything he did was connected. I miss the day of muppet family christmas and...
Reading that again makes me want to cry. That is so touching. It always gets to me when I read about the filming of the episode when Big Bird finds out Mr. Hooper died. It sounds like it was such an emotional scene to film. I really have to reread Carroll's book. It was awesome. He really is an...
My top 5 would have to go:
1) Ernie and Bert- I always kinda favored Ernie since he's so fun and relaxed but Bert is hillarious too. They totally play off eachother. You can't have one without the other.
2) Cookie Monster- Who couldn't love a monster who's main goal in life is to eat as many...
Chilly Down is such an awesome song. When I first bought the soundtrack it was pretty much for that song and Magic Dance. Now I love them all and I think that soundtrack has to be one of the best cds I own. It's so fun and 80s. I will always consider Chilly Down to be one of my favorites.:)
I've never read any of the books but I have seen the movies since my husband is a big fan of the books and movies. I have to say the first 2 movies he kinda had to drag me to since I didn't understand the big deal behind Harry Potter but the movies grew on me and now I love them. So yeah I am...
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. A really good book although it doesn't match The Five People You Meet in Heaven by him. I couldn't put that one down.
I don't know about anyone else but I can't find this dvd anywhere! I have spent the last 2 hours checking every store in the city and it's nowhere. I was so looking forward to watching it tonight too. Guess I'll have to get it online and wait to see it.
Wow. I am in total shock right now. I really was not expecting any news like this after seeing him on the Fraggle dvds and everything. That is just so sad. He was such an amazing man who contributed so much to the Muppets. He played a huge part in making the Muppets what they are today. It's so...
I've had the same confusion too because I've read in various sources that Jim Henson was left handed but yet I was under the same impression as you about the puppetry. Plus I thought Louise Gold was the only left handed puppeteer during the Muppet Show years but I could be wrong.
