I had these back in the day... in fact, I think I had two sets eventually, after the first set got worn out and all the stands were broken and the cardboard stage was tearing. The stage was really cool, though. And the cast of characters was awesome! Seems like everyone was there... the main...
Just some of my 2 cents to throw out to you guys... (hate to interupt! heh.)
Yeah, the Dreamwave books look purty, but have you actually tried *reading* them? yech... after four issues, you'd think the story would be a little more developed, especially with only 2 issues left to finish it up...
I'm a fan too!
When I went to Botcon back in '97, I got Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman's autographs, got Stan Bush and Vince DiCola to sign my TF:TM soundtrack (unfortunately, that was stolen with all my other CDs out of my car a couple of months later... ) and had Peter Cullen (ol' Op...
I wish they would stuff more episodes on each disc. I know a DVD can hold 6-7 half hour (which boils down to about 22min) episodes easily. Only 3 on a disc seems like a waste. I'd rather have the complete series on 20 discs instead of spread out over 40 (if they eventually end up releasing...
I'm surprised no one else has mentioned him yet, but I gotta say I relate the most to good ol' Kermit.
I always feel responsible for the people I'm with, like I want to make sure they're happy or they're doing what they need to do.
I often feel like I'm the only sane or sensible one...
Hey GuySmiley,
Have you ever heard Statler & Waldorf's comments on "Happy Feet" on the Muppet Show Vol. 2 LP (can't remember if they have any comments after Kermit performs it on the show)? It goes something like this:
Waldorf: You know, on the show that wasn't funny.
Statler: True, true...
I've had Vol. 2 of The Muppet Show lp since I was little, and I managed to get Vol. 1 off ebay a couple years ago (for about $20). I've also recorded them to tape so they're more accessible. And yeah, they are pretty cool!
Also talk with your bank and explain the situation, they may be willing to waive one of the fees, especially if you're in good standing with them (you said you've never bounced a check before, so that's good.)
I had a similiar situation happen (with a credit card payment of all things... what...
Ken,
I'm glad you're considering dropping the bases, I was going to suggest you start using them only for the characters that really need them. I'm starting to amass a pile of unused Muppet Show bases, from Bunsen, Dr. Teeth, and Tux Kermit. But I'm thankful that Piggy and regular Kermit have...
Wow! I can't believe so many other people have an idea similiar to one I had - "The Muppet Show Movie", telling how the Muppet show came to be. It would be great seeing how the regulars like Fozzie and Gonzo auditioned and got their jobs. Plus , it would really set itself up for lots of...
I kinda figured that with the facial expressions, as I believe you talked about that when people were asking for a scrunched up Kermit face.
But it's nice to know you've already had that idea (closed mouth Kermit) and are trying for it!

Since Koozebane has been brought up, and the Kermit for that is in the process of being sculpted, here's my question/request:
Will the reporter Kermit have a different facial expression than the regular Kermit? I was hoping this Kermit would have a "closed mouth", to give the reporter...
I think the reason no one has done realistic Ghostbusters figures yet is because Bill Murray doesn't want his likeness used for action figures. I can't remember where I heard this exactly, though... it may have been from a friend who used to work at McFarlane Toys.
But you can check out my...
