Hey, I use castilene... can I have a job? :D
You can only get castilene once every century, you must travel to the deepest mud pit on the tallest mountain in the darkest forest... or you can just go to www.castilene.com. (my avatar is made of castilene...)
McFarlane Toys uses castilene...
Glad you guys liked my little personal Jess... she was cast in resin, so I have molds and could make another, but even with the sculpting part out of the way it still takes a lot of time to sand and paint and put her all together. But I would like to do a "casual" Jessica (not in the Simpsons...
Roger Rabbit rocks! Can't wait for the new DVD (which has been rumored for a long time now... hope it shows up eventually). I was hearbroken when the second film was officially canned a couple years ago, but after being strung along for so long, guess it was good to just have a definitive...
It's about time someone made fun of Disney! For the most part, their stuff is so cliched and so formula-ic, yet it's such a part of our culture, that it's a tremendous source of satire and parody.
But, I think my earlier post was largely misread. I wasn't dissing Bug's Life, and I wasn't...
Grail, the was the exact same logic I used when I was thinking of this last night, after Ken posted that there wouldn't be a Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, or Piggy next year. Pretty much came to the same conclusion that Animal would be the next one, too.
However, there was one other factor I...
Loved the commentary for "Mike's New Car". That was an unexpected surprise! I always wondered why CGI water was hard to do... now I know!
And Beaker... er, I'm a bit confused on why you keep calling Shrek "pastel CGI". If you're speaking literally, then I gotta disagree. "Bug's Life" is...
Surprisingly, I haven't seen this mentioned on here yet, but
www. figures.com has pics from pre-Toy Fair, and they show unpainted versions of Mega Beaker and I'm assuming Mega Bunsen although I didn't see anything in the thumbnail to really prove his scale...
Swedish Chef looked mega-sized...
Wow! Link's head looks frickin' huge! It looks like it's from a completely different scale than the body.
Of course, having a "big head" would suit his personality... and it might be like the "wide-bottomed" Rowlf that seemed strange at first but after subsequent viewings looked okay...
www.figures.com and www.action-figure.com have pictures of the new toys... I don't know what I was expecting from this new line, but these are un-impressive. Too much like the originals, head designs seem to be the major change, and they're okay, but the expressions are terrible... Raphael's is...
They're just rerunning the movie, broken up into it's individual episode parts. Part 2 was on this week, part 3 should be next week, and probably a new episode the week after that.
I gave it another shot tonight and sat down to watch part 2. Man, it's just annoying. The pacing is stop and...
Neat! Thanks for posting that link!
A year or so ago I found pictures on the net of an Aughra someone sculpted, and it was really nicely done. I think they did a Mystic too. If I ever find them again I'll post the links (I wasn't part of Muppet Central at that time...)

I don't remember the uproar from the first film, but I was a lot younger at the time so I probably just didn't notice or care. I figured something was up though, when the second one came out and they stopped saying "****" and changed "God, I love being a turtle" to "Man, I love being a turtle."...
Gotta say, I think the first one is definitely the best. It goes above and beyond being a "90 minute commercial", the emotions the Turtles go through can be pretty intense (especially Raph, of course.)
The 2nd one's not bad for a live-action cartoon.
The 3rd.... ugh.
I'm very...
Ya know what I just realized? My first foray into action figure collecting was with the "original" Muppet ones from Fisher Price back in the day. I was 4 at the time and my parents would buy them for me, one at a time (except for once when I was able to get two at the same time... boy was I...
GMC Fozzie problem solved!
Hey, if they make a Pizza Bros. Fozzie, they can stick his "PRESS" hat in with that one, and then you can put it on your regular series 2 Fozzie.
And if there's room, they can put the other accessories in with the Pizza Bros. Fozzie... the picture of dad could always...
Heh heh... GMC Fozzie... cheapest variant ever! Just switch out his hat from the normal version and put in one with "Press" on it!
Even if all the other accessories were switched out for a crate with "BEAR" on it, a picture of Kermit and Fozzie's dad, and a glass of champagne with sugar in it...
