Could not agree more with this. I mean, having this forum to go on to has reassured me that I'm not alone in my love of Muppets, but just seeing his story fold out on screen... Gah. I can't even. I haven't connected with a character so strongly in ages.
Thiiiiiiis needs to happen, but for DVD. I already own Muppets Take Manhattan on DVD, but none of these ones. I can't afford a blu-ray player though. Hopefully if it does happen they'll also release a DVD boxset because, oh my goodness, I would so pay to have it!
It looks like there aren't any women's sizes... or are they unisex shirts? Cause I love the classic Muppet Show blue shirt as well, but I hate bulky t-shirts.
Woah... okay, speaking as someone who has seen the new Muppet movie more than once, I did not see this at all. I thought Segel and Stoller did a really great job capturing the characters of the Muppets. And they most certainly did tap into the depth of their persona's, which we haven't really...
That's... oh my goodness, I can't even begin to express how much I want that someday. I sincerely hope Muppet movies are still coming out when I'm married (in the far off distant future), so then we can spend anniversaries/quality time together going to see Muppet movies. :)
Going off of beakerboy12...
YMBAOMF if you go off on a rant about how incredible Steve Whitmire is for doing both Link and Beaker in "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to your roommate at 8am on the car ride to school. (His response "... I did not understand a word you just said." :) )
Aaaaaand I had the complete opposite reaction this morning. Every time my alarm would go off this morning, in my half asleep stupor I'd think "No. Need to get back to bed. Have to do that work Steve and Bill asked me to do."
I don't even know.
This has been discussed many times already. The movies are not canon, they are each separate stories told by The Muppets. So this movie is different than IAVMMCM in the sense that they're each stories and do not apply to the Muppets' actual lives.
That's the first thing I noticed when I watched this the other night. I was like "Huh... Fozzie... Animal... Piggy... has Eric cloned himself?" I figure he's probably operating Piggy, since she talks a bit at the end, but yeah, I was surprised there wasn't a bit more variety. But no complaining...
YMBAOMF if whenever someone asks you a question they expect your answer to involve Muppets.
This definitely happened to me twice today. One of the times it was fine, but the other time... merg. It sort of ticked me off, the way it was said.
Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes! One of the major things I was looking forward to in this movie was the Rizzo-Gonzo reunion scene that I was so sure would happen. I wasn't expecting anything big, maybe a hug or an "I've missed you", but yeah, that didn't happen. :(
Okay, see, now I don't...
I dreamed that Bill Barretta told me to get up or I'd be late for school. I then woke up and saw that I slept through my alarm clock. I got to school just in the nick of time.
Thank you, dream!Bill. It's good to know you have my back.
My beanie babies... scratch that. All of my stuffed animals. I gave them all names, I assigned them families, I decided which ones were dating/married and which ones hated each other, and so on. Considering I had over 100 stuffed animals as a kid, this was very ambitious of me. I think it also...
