"Sing Soon?" ... There's something sort of... whimsical about that. I like it.
Hey, I was looking for Ol' Brown Ears is Back and the Muppets Beach Party albums. Also, perhaps the Muppet Show Music Album. Thanks!
In IAVMMCM, Kermit confronts Miss Piggy about her work as a fake psychic, and Piggy's response is: "Are you a cop? Because if you are, you have to tell me."
Is this a reference to the false idea that if you ask an undercover police officer (specifically in the case of a... well, inapropriate...
... Huh?
Robin seemed like a kid to me. A grumpy, fat toad would have a much more gravelly voice and say stuff like "I ain't singin' dat part, you lousy sons-a-me-mudder-in-law's-triple-chin!" I don't think a grumpy, fat toad would sound quite so... happy? Cheery? Child-like? Personally, I...

Should clear up some confusion about singing parts.
Yes, I was shocked at how spot-on Scooter sounded. It was PERFECT! And I wasn't bothered by Robin at all. He doesn't sound like 1970s Robin, but he does sound like Jerry's most recent performance as Robin (which sounded off... but still good!)

Two updates from Cory Edwards that I noticed haven't been discussed here yet. At least he's still pushing for this thing to happen.
And in his post from November, it seems he's been a bit frustrated that the movie hasn't happened yet as well...
Something that annoys me is when people buy into rumors made up by people seeking a little fame. Such as the Swedish Chef origins rumor and the Kermit Scott rumor, both of which were denied (one by Jerry Juhl, the other by Jim Henson).
I'm passionate about the original as well (even though I believe it's a crime what they did to Audrey Hephburn. If you didn't like her voice, why'd ya hire her?). But I do think it sounds like a worthwhile endeavor. I wouldn't like a modernization, but I like their idea of setting it in reality...
Just looked it up. They don't live with Higgins. Initially, the play ended with Higgins simply laughing about the fact that Eliza and Freddy would get married. It really doesn't show what would happen afterward. But there are so many other endings for various productions and printings.
That would be interesting. I've always had a hard time choosing a favorite ending. Higgins' "Where the devil are my slippers?" line is a great ending, but so is the idea of Higgins going a bit coo-coo when Eliza marries Freddy (but of course they end up living with Higgins, so everyone gets to...

Johnny and Sal are just too hillariously funny together. They never fail to make me laugh.
Kermit and Grover always seemed to be one of the best...
