Sounds like a great and fun challenge . But set up some rules right from the very start on how you want to do bussiness.
I include this rule when I do any kinda of Business!
all communication about the project must be only handled in emails ( I had one fella calling me at all...
Anita we did the BACK_YARDIGANS, Dora and Thomas the tank engine
We dont usually do game stuff just commercial and feature films
but I love the puppet design that leap frog did can you post any more shot of them ?
Funny... we just finished 3 of the games ( just the animation )
but I did have a chat with one of the Producers on the puppet stuff . She is head over heels for puppets and said she had a blast working on it . ! when she came to my office she just flipped out and loved the puppets I had , It...
In order to dye antron you use a ton of water it really has no effect to the material .

Hey gang I would like to start making my own eyes . Can anyone help ?
what do I kind of liquid do I use ? do I need to bake them ?
I Know Keeermit has been doing it for some time now . I would love to see some pic's of how it's done
thanks
try a fleece or fur type of material should have a bit of stretch to it , you want something with a little fuzz to it . It will help hide the seems!
Take a styro foam egg, cut off about a 1/4 of it long ways then try to hollow out the middle ...take a peice of fabric the is about 6in square...
Jason the key is just take your time and work clean (ie don't get hot glue on the fleece , make sure your cuts are nice and straight)
also dont over think any of it . You will make mistakes but just fix it on the next one!! just keep biulding and each one will get better and better
ask for the 1/4 inch foam that cost 7.25 per sheet it's great stuff!
your going to luv it
with one of the sheets you can easly get 3 puppets from it from the rotondo pattern .
I hope you got the fleece covering pattern also it will make really easy to cover yet.
sure no problem at all but think about it before you buy do you really need reticulated ? at almost $75 a yard is it worth it ? when you cover your regular foam with antron it will expand the life of the puppet no matter how you use him .
I only do reticulated on very special project because of cost
Same here ... They dont have netral color thou ! Just black ?
And there not very nice people . but what you goin to do !
they do have this foam I buy it cost 7.25 and comes in a pretty big sheet and works great !
I hope that helps
Jason ,
go to project puppet.com and look at the sock pattern! it will be a great start for you. All my puppets are made using these patterns as a base !
