I saw LTS for the first time the other day, and I really liked it. It's far from perfect, and I'll agree that it could've used a few more rewrites. I also thought it was far too short... but besides that, I did really like it. It's cute and it got me in the Christmas spirit and there was a ton...
So, I guess the major question is this:
If I were to start something, would people actually send money to me that I would, in the end, send to the museum to get the car fixed?
If the answer is yes, I figure I can probably contact the museum to let them know this is happening. Maybe make a...
Hasn't Disney gone on record saying that this film's officially a success? I don't have the source for this information, but people keep saying it on here so I assume it's true.
I love MFC, but I grew up with MCC and nothing will beat it for me. Plus MCC is really what spun me into my Muppet obsession, so, yeah, it's number one in my heart.
But I love all the other specials so very much!
I've been kind of thinking about it, and, well, I wouldn't mind heading it... I just don't know how I'd go about doing it. Would everyone send the money to me? Would they send the money to the place? I dunno, I've never done anything like this before, but if I could get fans from all over to...
No song particularly comes to mind at the moment, but I remember a couple months back there was one day where I would play songs in my head, but I'd play them with the voices of the Electric Mayhem singing. Good times.
Okay, so, Peter sounds a lot like Walter when reading this, so I feel like I need to buy this. I want to listen to Walter recite to me Night Before Christmas. I can think of nothing better!
I did this when I watched MTI with a group of friends last year. We were all drinking at the time, and the more I drank the more my Muppet-nerd showed. I know that some point in the second half of the film I basically delivered a monologue about who Jerry Nelson was. Luckily my friends were more...
I'm hearing a lot of feedback on the more negative side about non-Henson fans... From my personal experience, everyone in my life respects Henson on some level. Of course they're not all big/die hard fans like ourselves, but they all have a certain level of affinity for the Muppets (I have...
"Pictures In My Head" takes the cake for me. It's the only Muppet song that makes me cry every time I watch it.
I guess "Couldn't We Ride" makes me cry every time, but from beauty, not sadness.
Oh yeah. From a technical standpoint it was beautiful. I told my friends that I'd gladly just watch all the set/lighting changes, and maybe some of the effects, over again. No doubt it was a beautiful show, but the actual play itself was a huge let down for me as a LotR nerd.
