I now start getting emotional when Gary gives his speech to Walter near the end. Especially when he gets to the "cause that's what growing up is". I think this might be more because I'm relating it to my own life though.
Really? I just wrote up a list of my top five favorite cameo appearances last night, and Mel Brooks made the cut. I know he's a villain in the movie, but I grew up with Spaceballs and Young Frankenstein and I absolutely adore his comedic style. He's a comedy genius (and yes, definitely not...
YMBAOMF if you lecture your dad about how if more men wore argyle sweater vests you'd be more willing to date them, and then less than twenty-four hours later you go to see The Muppets for the sixth time and you realize what Gonzo is wearing...
Oh Miss Piggy so would take advantage of Walter's eagerness. You just know she would. And I really loved the Electric Mayhem segment.
Keep up the good work!

YMBAOMF when you're watching a TV program and both Elmo and Big Bird suddenly appear as guests on the show and instead of the characters names you shriek "KEVIN! CAROLL!!!"
Saw it again for the sixth time and, I must say, I was surprised by the amount of people were in the theater. I counted heads (during "Let's Talk About Me") and there were more than twenty people there. And I went to a later showing, so that was nice to see! And there were no annoying people...

Oh they're doubters for most of the film, but I don't think you have too much to worry about. Let's just say ol' Saint Nick makes an appearance at the end and puts an end to any doubt.
I voted The Muppet Movie. For me, that film does no wrong. Amazing, beautiful songs, really great camaraderie amongst the Muppet gang, a great speech by Kermit, hilarious gags, and so on. Nothing beats the opening, with the slow pan on "Rainbow Connection", and that last moment when the roof...
Happy birthday to Ed, a spectacular moderator and a stand up fellow! Thanks for making this year so much more wonderful and Muppety. Hope your birthday is fantabulous. :)
Be still my heart! What a great start to a Christmasy Muppet fic! I love how you write Fozzie/Kermit. Sometimes I forget how much I adore their friendship, and this really helped remind me of that. And the Rizzo/Gonzo friendship has always - always - been my favorite, so it's nice to see some...
