Well I believe that Labyrinth had George Lucas in the producing spot and Henson learn from his mistakes on Dark Crystal because Dark Crystal problem lies within its pacing and pretty much directorial things, so I think a DC sequel could be awesome.
I love Dark Crystal but I'm in the camp that believes it's not perfect, I've always found JHC to be a visionary but would of been more effective at times as a producer than a director since his lay-outs and such didn't always flow greatly but his visuals and ideas are leagues a head of anyone...
MirrorMask is inspired by the Labyrinth and doesn't use puppetry, it's all cgi and was made on a shoe string budget. Reason it's not a sequel is because there's some kind of rights issue that is stopping them from making a sequel.
JHC isn't clear of all the blame I never bother watching it but "Kermit Swamp Years" anyone? As for Disney it seems they've estabished a different branch for the muppets so it should be assume they'll be handle differently. Also all the "cheap-quels" as they're approriately called are handled by...
I saw Unleashed this weekend along with Guess Who(I was suppose to see Crash, I don't want talk about it :( ) Unleashed was awesome, good story and great action. Guess Who threw some obvious punches I like Bernie Mac it had some heart felt moments. What made Unleashed work so well were the...
I got say the work done by Jim Henson Creature's workshop is fantastic, I advise anyone who's a fan of JHCW to check out hte film because it's not a bad film to boot :)
Ha ain't this swell, I was expecting to be banned for inciting a riot instead I got a complement :) Though I just like to say if P I S S E D is profanity then wow.... Also I'm just merely debating as that I think that fans don't really ever have good ideas since usually most would love to stay...
How about you read what I said which is that cgi could be used to improve the puppetry
Not true I've seen movements out of the CGI yoda that are sheer awesome, and I'm not talking about hte light saber battle, I mean in general just how he moves it's pretty sweet, the range of emotions...
I'm sorry if I come off as harsh but I usually get ****** off with the fanbase because they seem to think they own or have some right as to where there respected beloved franchises go, and they simply do not. They are not the thinkers or innovators who came up with it, they are the fans who in...
I like to see the Muppet Movies presented in OAR(Original Aspect Ratio), more specifically a Muppet Christmas Carol and a Muppet Treasure Island. Give me my widescreen version!!! They should produce a box set including all the movies and then tons of special features, it's possible to get the...
Dark Crystal is awesome, I love it and I love Jim Henson but he was not the greatest of directors so I can see this surpassing the original  I much would of rather seen a prequel though :(
Actually I only saw a couple of episodes of farscape and loved it, while they were on earth, and haven't seen anything since not even the final episode, and still tottally understood it except for Harvey which I recently learned about :)
I kind of agree with your opinion about muppet in space, but I can see him as the Wizard of Oz. Also the casting I kind of like the casting of Ashanti mainly because I'm assuming she has a good voice, and one of the great things about the muppets is the music and how there movies and things...
Beauregard don't take this the wrong way but you seem really bitter. It makes perfect sense the casting that is, to have humans and then the muppets to populate OZ. Also Queen Latifah is a star but she probably doesn't have that big a paycheck along with Ashanti. So far I haven't heard any news...
