Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

I just realized that in this movie, Fozzie never really wants to do an act that Kermit says no to for any reason, and we don't see Fozzie headline any acts (pretty much all the acts we see are either variations on the opening, music performances, or acts with guest stars). In a way it seems like...

What song can you not get out of your head?

I've had Green Day's "Basket Case" in my head. Mainly the opening lyrics ("do you have the time, to listen to me whine...?").

    The "You know what?" thread

"Fancy" seems to be Iggy Azalea's biggest hit, or at least her only song I know of. And yet the best-known parts of the song, the only lyrics I can really remember off-hand, are the parts sung by guest singer Charli XCX. Which is also ironic (I think this counts as irony), as I read on Wikipedia...

Missing Muppets: The Ones You Miss

Wouldn't Walter be more crazy about being around all the Muppets than being around the celebrities? Actually, his line was in episode 110 with Martin Short. He also made a few non-speaking background appearances. I think he was even attacked by Heather Locklear.

Missing Muppets: The Ones You Miss

Jim Lewis once said that the running gag of him being hired just to be cute wasn't exactly a strong enough running gag to last too long. And Frank Oz once said that he was created to get people to stop thinking of the Muppets as cute, but people continued to view Muppets as cute. His last...

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thread

I didn't know until a few weeks ago that New Line Cinema was once an independent company. I read that none of the major studios wanted to do a TMNT movie, can't remember if it's because they thought it would be too expensive or too difficult (or maybe both). Lately I've been thinking about...

    The Muppet Mindset

On The Muppet Mindset's Twitter page, it actually mentions your article (a night early), and appears to link to it, but when I click on the link, it just says that the link doesn't work. I've mentioned before that I sometimes see articles posted early, only for them to disappear until the...

Missing Muppets: The Ones You Miss

Characters I most want to see return are Louis Kazagger, Fleet Scribbler, Seymour, Gaffer, Doglion, Timmy, Mean Mama, Gorgon Heap, and most of the Jim Henson Hour characters, most importantly Digit, Leon, Lindbergh, and maybe Vicki, Waldo, Flash, Beard, and the Solid Foam Drummer. In fact we...

Your Sesame Street VHS tape collections

It's great to see all those scans from the Count It Higher activity book. Interesting how Grover is drawn in it despite not being in the video itself (but then again, the Play-Along Songs activity book has Little Bird, who's not in the video). Also interesting that most of the pages for songs...

Very Interesting Sesame Street resource film on the Wiki

Noticed that the "part 5" film is just one segment, and one not previously mentioned on the wiki (and, I assume, not online). I wonder if that's a long segment. I hope that whoever ends up purchasing this puts the stuff we didn't previously know about on YouTube or DailyMotion or somewhere...

Missing Muppets: The Ones You Miss

And as I said, there are a number of characters who don't have individual pages. There's not individual pages for every member of The Gogolala Jubilee Jugband, Geri and the Attrics, the Muppets Tonight Band, or the Extremes. And several Frackles do not have their own pages. And who knows how...

Very Interesting Sesame Street resource film on the Wiki

When I was in the second grade (1991-1992) they showed some film strips of The Rescuers and The Fox and the Hound. I'm guessing those were Super 8 films, unless they actually sold film copies (or if the teachers were lucky enough to get a full film copy). Watching those in the classroom was the...

Missing Muppets: The Ones You Miss

Muppet Wiki has pages for 2,834 Muppets, and pages for 913 "The Muppets" characters. Of course, there's a number of character groups where not all characters have their own individual pages, which lowers the number at Muppet Wiki.
