I don't get this thing of putting them up online before they air. They're paying millions of dollars for the airtime, while the web is free, and it takes the fun out of seeing them for the first time.

I'm sure it's related to the 50th anniversary somehow. They've always prided themselves on the celebrities that have appeared and it's a fine way of showcasing it.

Well the thing is that the audio from the Paley Center viewing stations comes from the headphones, not speakers. So, whoever recorded those obviously had their headphones on, preventing any real audio from being captured. All in all, a foolish idea from all fronts.

Would've been really lame if Oscar weren't involved. The Andy Grammer song might be my favorite this season (aka the only good one so far). I'll admit, I kinda skip around the Foodie Truck bits. The only really funny parts are Gonger's reaction to Cookie screwing up again.

Yeah, it was a total mess (even though I like seeing Honkers used so prominently). I can't believe these past muster with the people making it.

I'm not sure I'd want another coffee table book - the 40th anniversary one was as fan-pleasing as possible and I don't know what they could do to make one less redundant.

Maybe it was a rights thing. They can air it still, but not stream it. Wish I knew why all the Joe Raposo tracks were cut though. The deal seemed rather hasty so they might not have been able to negotiate in time.
